Lewis was warned from holding Tyson though and it was no where near as much as Wlad holds

....... and don't often feel the need to post BUT povetkin vs klischko was terrible to watch. Was there a single combination thrown thoughout the whole fight??? And the holding was embarrassing, just BOX, you're taller, stronger etc.. everything going in your favour, it's not necessary!

I don't think it was as bad to watch as some make it out to be. Could have been worse, more action in the first few rounds than 12 rounds of Wlad/Haye. At least Povetkin came to fight and he landed some decent punches and Wlad did try and go for the KO and did throw the odd combination. But of course the clinching was excessive.

Scored 4 KD's and defeated an undefeated fighter who had never been down. Wlad's short left hooks were very effective. Povetkin kept walkin' into them and getting rocked. Yeah, the clinching was clumsy but Povetkin has a lot to blame there too. Anytime he would try to get inside all he could do was hug. Wlad does put the "led blanket" defense as designed by Emanuel Steward. Same tactic worked well for Lennox. The delayed knock down was a thing of beauty :good

Povetkin's giving all credit to Wlad. He ain't making excuses or crying like three year old girl :|

When Tyson fought he was carefully managed. If you noticed everything was stacked so Don King would have a heavyweight titlist at all times. I suppose if Klitschko steamrolled an ancient light heavyweight with bad knees in his very last fight in 91 seconds people would be ooing and awing him then too.

Sure, but he wasn't the complete fighter he'd later become under the guidance of the great Emanuel Steward.

I don't care if Tyson would have beat Klitshcko. But Mike came out swinging, and he was 5'10. I miss Mike.

I missed the fight but I heard Wlad fouled , dry humped and bear hugged the **** out of Povetkin.
