Believe me, Canelo destroys that. It was an ESPN FNF opponent. Don't overreact to this.

Trout went 12 rounds with the same opponent... Styles make fights, but this Cotto tonight is re-dedicated to do what he does best.

I'm just glad we have the possibility of seeing that fight get made. If Cotto lost tonight, that was it. A Cotto/Canelo fight looks promising if his work with Freddie proves positive.

Getting rid of Rodriquez in 3 is very impressive.

Mayweather was right when he said Cotto is a better fighter than Alvarez.

Canelo got wobbled by Miguel Cotto's lesser talented brother Jose and Canelo won his We Be Chicano belt from a 147lb bloated Matthew Hatton and won a close could have gone either way belt from Trout.

Cotto is a 3 Division 4 times Champion of the World. Cotto gave Floyd the toughest fight since Hoya/Hatton back in 2007.

I pick Cotto to destroy Canelo

This is the fight Cotto needed. Convincing a lot of fools that he's back in prime form.

Actually, I believe it's pretty convenient timing that Cotto becomes Canelo's most desirable potential target.

Being a bull against a nobody, just like he did when he was an upcoming fighter in the ranks.

What has happened since that. Nobody has wobbled him that bad. Get fooled by tonight's performance, that's all I needed. Thanks.

You are the type of boxing fan, that is a troll... no matter what Cotto would have done, you would have said something.

If it goes the distance, Cotto should have knocked him down in 5 rounds or less.

He literally demolishes the guy... and you still have something to say. Listen, we get it; I understand this wasn't a p4p fighter he was facing... but Cotto still looked impressive. Let's put our biases aside.

Fooled or no fooled, Canelo is a fraudulent champ winning his We Be Chicano belt from 147 bloated lesser talented Matthew Hatton, then having a close could have gone either way belt from Austin Trout then getting schooled by Floyd.

If knocking out 140lb fighter like Josesito Lopez, beating contender club fighter Alfonzo Gomez, beating 147 club fighter Matthew Hatton for the belt and having a tough close fight with Trout is your idea of a real champ then log off now puto
