I did find it weird when he kept saying over and over again how the Quigg was a legitimate World Champion, didn't Froch realize that Quigg won the "regular" WBA title last night?.

I'm talking rubbish? It is you and Froch talking rubbish mate, did you even see why I brought up Froch winning the vacant WBC against Abraham?

The only title Abraham held at supermiddleweight was the WBO..ergo Abraham in Frochs eyes was never a legit supermiddleweight belt holder, so Froch is disrespecting his own resume :patsch

What is the difference between beating Arthur Abraham for the WBO belt, or the vacant WBC belt? Because the BC is legit yet the BO isn't? Even though it's still the exact same fighter you're facing to win it? Sorry but Froch is a ****ing moron, an absolute idiot, and I respect the man a hell of a lot

Its all a load of sh*t really. The Super Champion and Ordinary Champion just another low spot in the general downward spiral of championship belts. UK promoters have now got more sway in getting the 3 regular organisations to move their fights in higher spots as opposed to 10 years ago say. However, I agree with Froch's sentiments. The WBO is def the more minor of the four belts. It was founded the latest and generally not regarded in the USA.

That is a simple fact. As James Toney once said "the WBC stands for We Be Crooks and the WBO, we don't even count that"

Any real fan knows that Quigg isn't a legitimate World Champion, despite the words of Carl Froch last night. The Casuals however will believe that Quigg is a World Champion and will preach it to other casuals and they will follow in the Quigg hype and random which is what SKY want when promoting future Quigg "World Championship fights".

I feel the WBO title is a world Championship, at least in today's world it is. (20 years ago maybe not)

But surely you don't consider the WBA "regular" belt that Quigg won a legitimate World Championship?.

They're all tacky trinkets at the end of the day, how is one better than the other? Sad truth is though no one wants to watch a fight with no 'title' on the line.

it IS a snipe at JC, but you can understand too that there IS a certain legitimacy to his remark...

it was after the 3 main ones that we really began to see the state of modern boxing...
