WBO not a real World title according to Froch

Nice to see Kell Brook not in the top 10 Rankings at 147. I cringe when i see him in the top 5-10 on Boxrec,Ring Magazine etc.

Good ranking overall, i mut say better than Boxrec and Ring Magazine.

 

i think thats more down to the fact thats the same WBA he won from Kessler because the WBA made Ward WBA super duper champion

 

Very good point, i doubt Froch and Sky will ever promote Carl as the "Regular" WBA Champ. At least Froch is also the IBF Champion though.

 

Ward is the champion at Super Middle. Froch is a trinket holder.:deal

Also, I would say the WBC is the most crooked and illegitimate of all the ABCs. They practically hand belts to Mexicans, such as coddled disgrace, Chavez Jr.:roflatsch:dead:barf

 

Ward is the no.1 at 168lbs by some way Froch would know that first hand.

 

ARTHUR ABRAHAM was IBF champion around the time Froch faced him you noob,he made 11 defences of the title before he moved up in weight and was recognised as one of the best fighters on the planet at the time and Froch destroyed him.

Whatever is happening in Abrahams career now is down to the fact that he is way down the pecking order at super middle and quite frankly past his best.

Its no surprise he held the WBO title AT THIS STAGE in his career because they are the only organisation that let second tier fighters challenge for their belts.

If Arthur Abraham was a WBO champion when Froch fought him I might have to agree with you but he wasnt and thats why your statement holds no clout.

Sounds like you just dislike Froch as a man and your looking for bones to pick out of what he said,fact of the matter is he can say what he wants really because hes hands down the best fighter in Britain at the moment and his achievements speak for themselves.

The WBO does itself no favours. The WBC and WBA are a disgrace but they tend to call on their history of great champions. The WBO can call on a few great champions but tends to get linked to absolute shockers rather than the other way round.

 

I don't get it really when people talk about which belt is the real title or which isn't. I suppose some people have just grown up with all these title being thrown about. The way I see it the quality of the fighter gives value to whichever belt he might hold whatever it may be and not the other way round.
At the end of the day Andre Ward is the best super middleweight in the world and all the others are contenders no matter how good they are or what other "titles" they might hold.. We only live in one world so for me he is the "World champ" at that weight.

Firstly Arthur was fighting froch for the VACANT WBC Super middleweight Title, not Abrahams IBF or WBO, he boxed Pablo Oscar Natalio Farias for the vacant WBO strap after he faced all these guys in the super 6.

Yes Abraham defended 11 times on the bounce, AT MIDDLEWEIGHT.

Yes he was regarded as one of the best middleweights at that time, but he went up to SUPER MIDDLEWEIGHT to enter the super 6.

He got Jermain Taylor (a former career middleweight who was going up in weight after losing twice to kelly pavlik) who died out on the final stretch and got koed in an impressive fashion. DQ'ed against dirrel and got his ass handed to him by Froch (a career SUPER MIDDLEWEIGHT who is emmensly strong at the weight).

Thats why he aint high up the pecking order as you put it and more to the point, this post is the reason YOUR STATEMENT HAS NO CLOUT :deal

ward is a little piece of **** I don't know why Froch did him the favour of going over to America to face the little yank in his home country. if ward is a real champ then he should come over to Britain and return the favour instead of ducking Froch. pure stupidity of froch to go over there in the first place, if the fight had of taken place here in Britain froch would of knocked that soft little yank out cold

What does the fact that he moved up in weight have to do with anything,he vacated his title and didn't lose it to fight a higher level of opposition and for that should be commended,he was beaten by world class operators in the super six.That Blackbrenny was clutching at straws trying to **** on Abrahams career to make a point.Abraham was an unbeaten champion at the time and was considered very dangerous.If Joe Calzaghe had of done that to Abraham in Germany of all places you morons would still be banging on about it but because it's Froch you try and **** on Abraham because he held the wbo title at the end if his career,Abraham is probably better than 90 percent of the guys on Joe Calzaghes record.

 

Wasn't Eubank the WBO champion for a long time and didn't Froch say Benn and Eubank are his heroes?

 

Going up in weight has alot to do with it. Abraham didnt have it all his own way with taylor. Just taylor couldnt see through the 12 rounds.
Arthur did ok but you could tell when boxing froch he was originally a middleweight.

I think you are forgetting joe boxed hopkins and beat him.. Whom is more highly regarded than arthur abraham.
