You are absolutely and totally wrong period! I did some work for Klitschkos years ago and I know he was in hospital with badly torn rotator cuff, he sent us pictures and there are the hospital records. He had had some trouble with his shoulder even before the fight, but decided to fight anyway. Byrd had no chance to beat Vitali, not at all. I am not the only one who knows that Vitali had approx. 2.5 hours of surgery and if he had not stopped fighting he could have lost his entire career. Buddy McGirt waited too long to get surgery, lost his career. Byrd said that Vitali was harder to fight than Vlad. Hell, Vlad beat the crap out of Byrd two times, knocking him down and knocking him out in the second fight. If you think Byrd could beat Vitali or Vlad you must be smoking something........Vitali or Vlad Vs. Byrd is total mismatch. Damn, haters lie like Hell and have been lying for years now. "Sour Grapes" it is.........

I know for a FACT Byrd could beat Vits because he DID! I also know Vits never sought the rematch he promised his fans even thought he fought just mere weeks after Byrd and his brother. You can claom a previous shoulder injury till you're blue in the face, but Vits never said that and indeed did say any old injury did NOT inflict on the fight. These aren't sour grapes" these ARE FACTS!!

Nonsense, he still threw punches the whole fight, with both hands. He simply gassed, cause he was missing a lot with his heavy shots. Watch the fight, you could see the frustration in his face, when Byrd made him go backwards in the later rounds. They brought up that fake injury to save his reputation.

If he was really injured, he would have taken the rematch instead of his brother or at least rematch him at a later point in time. He knew that Byrd was all wrong fr him stylewise though, therefor he didn´t meet him again.

Exactly. The commentators were talking about him breathing heavy with his mouth open as early as the 5th round. You gotta love revisionist history though!

Vitali never said he was never injured. Why would Vitali go through over 2.5 hours of surgery on his shoulder for nothing? Vitali went on to break records in heavyweight history, such as knockout ratio. We got first hand info at Danilo's Klitschko Fan site in Kiev, which no longer exists. Byrd had nothing to do with the injury. Later there was Boxing.de, Klitschko.com from Germany, then one in America, created around July, then it went back up around Sept. 15th. There is new Klitschko.com now, not as good as the one before. It had forum, lots of articles about Klitschkos that no other site had. I even wrote some articles at Klitschko.com and one that Vital used himself. So I know. Vitali is no liar. That is also another reason that Vitali and Vlad will never fight each other, they promised that years ago and will never break such a promise. You can go ahead and lie about Klitschkos, Hell, US boxing media has since they turned pro. Vitali is one true warrior............not just in the ring either...........American boxing media has "Sour Grapes" and always will............Vitali will probably retire in 2014, or could be early 2015, whatever, I will miss such a warrior when he retires. I guess you can write Vitali's surgeon in Germany to find out. Buddy McGire sure wished he had not waited on his surgery. A torn rotator cuff is extremely painful, if you get such an injury you would probably be crying!

I don't recall anyone saying Byrd had his number, but he was gassed (watch the fight and listen to the commentary again) and he most certainly ducked a rematch, hence it never happening in spite of both being highly ranked the next several years. Im also sure he injured his shoulder, but not to the extreme the Kliterati would have use believe. He was throwing with the right and as hard and often in the last round as he was in the beginning. Its all there to see.

Vitali and Vlad are very smart people. Vitali knew not to take a chance of losing his complete career. However, I think that Vitali could have gone to the 12th round and won a decision with one arm, but I am glad he did not take that chance. His injury was awful..............Buddy McGirt was one of my favorite fighters and I saw what fighting with shoulder injury can do. Enjoy Vitali while you can, he will retire pretty soon.............

Byrd was coming on strong and might have stopped Vitali.

Vitali was gassed from missing all night.

You seem to like avoiding questions. Of course that is typical Kliterati behavior. Anyway....why was he willing to chance his vision and career vs Lewis, but not light hitting Byrd who could have done no more damage to Vits arm as long as he decide not to throw it?

Why did´nt he rematch Byrd ? Yes, cause he knew that Byrd was all wrong for him stlyewise. He realized that even with all his steroids he could´nt beat that middleweight decisivly.

f he did it would have been through exhaustion, but I wouldn't have bet on that outcome. He was about to be terribly embarrassed though had he not quit as he was in fact out of gas.

And here we go with the exaggerations again! How can it be a one sided "beat down" when you only land 8 more punches and never hurt your opponent? Vits was rightfully up on the cards, but a one sided beat down it wasn't. Most rounds were pretty close, especially considering the size difference and Byrd flying halfway around the world on a weeks notice.
