Pulev, then Haye/Fury winner, then whoever emerges from the WBC mess after Vitali retires. Not sure what meaningful fights will be left after that though...
If it did happen... we would never hear about it anyway. Wilder is bound by contract to not discuss anything that went on in sparring. And Wlad, like Mayweather, generally doesn't release tapes of his sparring sessions. And he was there being paid to help prepare Wlad for a Heavyweight title defense. Not there to beat him up. Remove the headgear & 16 oz. gloves, and put a #1 Heavyweight crown on the line...and you're going to see the REAL. And it ain't gonna be pretty for Wlad... if he ever decides to step up, which i seriously doubt. Wlad knows what time it is.
I would love to see it happen just to throw in the faces of the Kliterati supremacist's, but I wouldn't bet on it. Wilder isn't ready to take that big of a leap.
Pulev should be the next "biggish" name, but Wlad might fight a lesser guy first in December or January - I have a feeling he wants to stay active and pile up the defenses to get nearer that record. I'd like to see Wilder go at it with the Fury/Haye winner before he is put in with Wlad. I don't think he's interested in Chisora, but he might want to fight Arreola along the way.
Pulev of course... Not that I give the man much chance, but he currently is the best of the sorry bunch (at least not yet beaten by Wlad). Can't imagine wanting to see him against Solis, Adamek or a Haye (seriously?!) rematch...
Pulev has earned a shot, then the winner of Tyson Fury - David Haye. but I want Fury to have a few more fights before getting a shot because I feel he needs a bit more experience first
Chisora fight would be ****. He's a fighter who's entire game is based around working his way inside, which we know you're not allowed to do against Wlad. It would look similar to Saturday's fight, except Pov is more skilled so Wlad might be tempted to throw more than 10 punches a round as Chisora wouldn't find it so easy to slip Wlad's punches. **** fight. As is any fight against someone who needs to fight in close as there is no such thing against Wlad - get close, get grabbed, get leaned on, get exhausted. The more interesting fights are against inferior but bigger fighters who wouldn't be reliant on getting inside Wlad's jab to fight. There would at least be some semblance of a boxing match in this kind of match up. So I suppose you're looking at someone like Wilder or Fury. Wilder is hugely inexperienced and his team is doing the right thing in taking their time and letting him develop - he's no reason to rush his own career and learning just because the champ has no one to fight or because people are talking about him. **** that. Fury has a fight signed, and there's no way K2 are going to pay him the same as he's getting against Haye, so that's not going to happen either. So I assume it'll be Pulev or Chisora, never of which are particularly interesting fights.
But Chisora is much stronger than Povetkin, i´m pretty sure, he wouldn´t let Wlad go away with all that hugging and leaning onto his opponent - tactics. I think this could be interesting.
Chisora will slam him in the balls or just plan lift wlad up and slam his ass to the ground. He wont stand for that sh!t
