Looks like Kovalev is going to be fighting Nov 30 on HBO and that right now Sillakh is at the top of the list for the fight.

Yeah. Sillakh has absolutely no chin, I can't see him lasting more than several rounds at the most.

Is that the best they could come up with? Maybe HBO just wants to see another Kovalev stoppage to build him up.

Kovalev will KO him inside 4-5 rounds. Silakh was KO'ed by journeyman Grachev. Kovalev is completely different level to him.

Kovalev "I want to unify the titles next"
reality "i will fight the #29 ranked guy no one give a $hit about Ismayl Sillakh"
what a major let down garbage fight

Sillakh fought arrogant against Grachev, he's much better than that. Kovalev walks at you in straight lines and throws slow telegraphed shots, he'll struggle with Sillakhs movement and slickness.

Ismayl was schooling Grachev til he got complacent and got caught, he's getting badly underrated now as a result. Hope this fight happens

I don't have a problem with this fight. Especially with it coming together (if it actually materializes) on short notice. Silkah may have a shaky chin, but he's still a very good offensive fighter and I would have picked him to beat Nathan Cleverly. I think Silakh will give Kovalev a competitive fight until he gets caught.

Grachev has only lost twice once to Bute and once to Edwin Rodriguez yet he's a "journeyman"?

Like he was supposed to school Grachev, who is far cruder and less destructive than Kovalev? :think (basically all-around inferior)
