I would say Mayweather Best Defensive Fighter. Pacquiao Most Exciting Offensive Fighter. Not the best though, he has too many flaws, not the most accurate. But still very exciting to watch.

Thats debatable. Abner Mares, Andre Ward, JMM and even Mayweather have better resumes over the past decade. Ward and Mayweather are undefeated over that span. Pacquiao is a great fighter. Cant put him as best though.

Floyd defensive fighter of the decade.
Marquez offensive fighter of the decade.
(Prefer JMM's offense over Pac, more rounded)

very debatable...only because ward have victories over a few good names but puts an entire stadium to sleep... As to JMM having better resume than pac?? i dont know man, i put pacs resume > jmm.. Mares? i always thought he was overrated.

agreed that ward and mayweather are undefeated and best at what the do though.

Fighter of the decade award was 2000 - 2010
It was clearly between Pacquiao and Mayweather. The other names don't even come close as Ward only started his pro career in 2004 starting with a bunch of no names. JMM's only claim to fame is his wars with Pacquiao. And Mares? :patsch

In the span of 2000- 2010 Pacquiao fought 28 times compared to Mayweather's 19. Pacquiao also ducked no one along the way, coming in as an underdog in many of the crucial fights and Pacquiao's fighter of the decade award was well deserved and, in my opinion, not even arguable.

Seeing as this is 2013, wasnt sure you meant just those years, but Pacquaio did duck Mayweather, you can say they ducked each other, thats fine. But JMM only claim to fame is beating Pac???? Lets see Marco Antonio Barerra, Joel Casamayor, Mayweather, Juan Diaz, Rocky Juarez, Chris John, Orlando Salido. You were joking about that, right. You are a Pacquiao fan im assuming. The world revolves around him and only him, lol...

Yes, I agree... People seem to forget how good Pacman is... He definitely is the best offensive fighter of this generation. Who else do you know that can make Cotto, Magarito, Hatton and Oscar look like that??? He's starting to get really under rated here after his loss to Marquez...

And yep, I doubt anybody will disagree about floyd being the best defensive fighter of this generation.
