if cotto goes on to beat martinez...then he will have accomplished something ppl felt floyd should have done. that's the equivalent to stealing shine from floyd. the cotto/mayweather rematch is inevitable. cotto does better in the rematch.

What's funny is I bet some dumbass fans will buy into this too. Arum says this bull**** to hype up his fighters.

"Oh, he's so good that Mayweather is afraid of him"

That's the scenario that went through my mind too. lol
I like both Cotto and Martinez, but I'll be rooting for Martinez in that one. I hope there's a clear winner, if that fight happens. No funny business.

If Cotto wins, I see Mayweather giving him a rematch for the middleweight title. If Martinez wins, I'm not sure if Mayweather would want to give him a fight. Maybe.

Where were all these people saying "Cotto would do better in a rematch" after he lost to Trout? Floyd had a shitty gameplan and still beat him decisively. If they had a rematch and Floyd fought more like he has in his last two fights, I see him beating Cotto even easier... And no, a Cotto win over Delvin Rodriguez doesn't change that one bit.

It's funny that Mayweather only seems to duck fighters, even ones he already fought, as soon as they're with Top Rank.

Floyd wanted 20 million to fight Oscar...Arum said the money isn't there:patsch

That wasnt very shrewd at all.

Asking Floyd to fight Hatton of less than Margarito....again...not very shrewd.
