I really don't see it. Care to explain? If Hearn is going to match him carefully then I can understand your p.o.v, but with Crawford having a mandatory shot, he can't match him carefully. Surely it's more sensible to cash out with a unification fight against Vazquez or Abril than a fight against Crawford. If he loses to Vazquez/Abril at least Hearn's can say that he lost to the best in the division whereas a loss to Crawford, at least to me, is definitely more damaging to Ricky's career at this moment in time.
Who has Crawford beat for folk to say he will blow Burns out in 6? Beltran had 10 rounds against Burns with a broken jaw and couldn't get him out of there. Some haters on here ignoring Burns toughness I see .........
Here we go again with the boxrec logic, use the eyeball test and watch Crawford fight, he's clearly miles better than Burns.
its beltran at the hydro in February or if the wbo make it happen and the cashs there itll be New Yoik in january baby yeeha ano what one i wanna see
Jon, Crawford is the best fighter in the division, when you watch him fight he is so controlled, precise theres no rush to his work, he really is a class act + he hits hard. Terrance Crawford will go through a few weight divisions yet too.. Watch his last couple of fights and i think you might just see how good he is.. It makes me laugh how the Americans have such a good fighter and they dont hype him.. :good
I would only expect that of a sweaty jock.. You wait and see if you think your love child Ricky would win that fight you are a terrible judge..
we can predict all we like reevo but fact is no **** knows what Will happen after that bell goes, who wud have thought ricky wud have done martinez that night apart from billy nelson?
Is Crawford mandatory? Not sure he should go into a fight with the likes of Crawford off the back of 2 performances where to he'll admit himself were not his best. To be fair to Burns, he's had to bite on his gumshield and dig deep in both his last 2 fights. Gonzalez was a shock, he could f*cking fight and was a nightmare to deal with so Ricky must've been fighting frustration in that one, but no matter the ending he got the job done. Against Beltran, no he didn't win that fight but he showed a big set of balls fighting for as long as he did with a snapped jaw. At the end of the day, he didn't ask the judges to give him the decision they awarded him it. There was talk that he might not be able to come back from the injury to his jaw, so that obviously speaks volumes as to how bad the break was. Bit risky going in with an operator like Crawford with of all places, your jaw, perhaps not going to hold up. That said I'm not a doctor and I'm not Ricky Burns, so what the **** do I know. I just hope he recovers and we see the best of him in his next fight.
Thats a fair point but i have a pair of eyes and i know class when i see it.. Burns dont like these tricky black boxers does he?
So how come you think he's class Reevo? Ricky outclassed Moses who was every bit as good has Crawford, if he wasn't American you wouldn't be so full of him. I feel for Burns but what a very brave guy who's not had the best of years due to inactivity and that injury.
