Forever altering the chemistry of the brain? Not in adults. Returning to homeostasis occurs in adults over time...the length of time dependant upon dosage and duration of use. Effects may linger but eventually dissipate. And these effects are not seen in every subject to begin with. Now In adolescents, the effect wiill be increased and MAY permanently alter function...in developing adolescents where altering function during key developmental periods could cause irreversible damage, as with physiology. Henderson's paper on brain function does not say permanent in adults.

The studies I am referring to in my post haven't actually been released yet, but preliminary results clearly show permanent changes and researchers claim they will be able to determine with for instance MRI-scans if athletes have ever abused steroids. The research is being conducted in Norway, but it could be used to test, say, an athlete from the Philippines.

Expect the results to be published by the end of the year.

Jmm looked juiced up the ass at the weigh in. His physique rivaled Tim's and that's saying a lot. Looked like Vargas at the De La Hoya weigh in. Problem is, Jmm is an atg and a juiced up Jmm is dangerous. I hope justice prevails and Tim whoops that cheating ass.

I don't know, but he hired the top steroid expert in the world before the Pac fight and was still losing. Was it the steroids that kept him from getting knocked out? Marquez' S&C trainers is also an expert at cheating drug tests...........

Definitely. (Though I'm sure the majority of boxers are to an extent, or as close to "juicing" as possible).

JMM being a proud Mexican boxer, it chafed at his pride with those losses to PAC. With his age increasing and career seemingly closing I think he did everything he could to ensure his victory. Sure he rocked Manny a few times in their previous 36 rounds, many times with the same punches he did in the 4th fight that gave him the KD and KO, but they never hurt that badly.

I wouldn't be surprised if JMM, PAC, Floyd and etc were all juicing to a certain degree.

    Can you say......."NON-DISCLOSURE AGREEMENT".

Alvarado had a choice......take this payday, or crush a can or journeyman. But he had to sign.

If you wanna fight Floyd.....you need to sign.

Not saying the fighters are agreeing to allow the other fighter to juice, but that the testing will not include TIE, which allows for unnatural levels in adult males as high as 5.9-1 without being detected.

Roidnard Hopkins.......perfect example. Vada would bury him literally......but his opponents don't care, b/c they're being offered career high paydays, and sometimes, against multiple opponents, win or lose.:-(
