Wilder's gonna made Wlad look like George Chuvalo once he fights a live body! :nod

Maybe, maybe not. But he still deserves to be brought along the right way allowing him to maximize both his potential and earnings.

I don't have a problem with him trying to make some money, but I'm gonna call it as I see it if he's fighting softies to protect his fragile mandible.:yep

Who's to say its to protect a weak chin though? People can say what ever they want. Is there a possibility this is true? Sure. I think its more likely they're grooming him for when Wlad is gone though. In todays terrible heavyweight era nice shiny records are more marketable than those with losses no matter how bad the comp is. Doesn't make it right, but that's the way is is now.

It's more than a possibility. Wilder's got a OBVIOUS glass jaw and his handlers know it - which is why nearly FIVE years into his career, he has YET to face someone who isn't a low-level tomato can or some long washed up fringe contender.

How do we know this? Let's look at the evidence, shall we?

He was laid out in this amateur fight (go about 2 minutes in), with HEADGEAR on :rofl :

    [yt]FNO5bVPP-uw[/yt]

And here's Wilder tasting canvas against the formidable Harold Sconiers, who had a 17-20 record when Wilder faced him (that's not Sconiers on the canvas, btw ):

Oh, and he also hit the deck against morbidly obese Dustin Nichols, a typical Wilder opponent, btw (go about 40 seconds in):

Make NO mistake about it. Wilder has a china chin, and his handlers know it. Why do you think he's 30 fights into his fraudulent "career" and still facing these sorts of stiffs??

DAMN you guys love to reach for anything!!! I've seen the second fight and that was nothing but a ****y novice being off balance. In the first fight he was beaten by a guy with a vast amount more experience, which is exactly why he's still taking safe fights now. At no time though was he crumbled in a heap or floundering around on jelly legs, so Im not getting where you get "china chinned" from?

He's trying to make money while taking the fewest risks possible. Plus, he's probably trying to wait til the klits retire so he can take thebelt from whatever bum ass HW gets their vacated title. Really not a bad plan if that's what he's doing.

Its a plan that has been used by many fighters. Wilder lacks the amateur experience of most of them though.

Zak has posted an average of one time every EIGHT HOURS for EIGHT YEARS.

Which is fine, I guess ... except that EVERY SINGLE POST is the same thing.

No one could do this if they had a job, of course, but that's why we have welfare and why mom and dad have a basement.

He's a one-trick pony ... and his idea is that if says someone has a glass jaw he must be right if at some point in their careers they get knocked out -- by which definition more than 90 percent of boxers have glass jaws.

I once managed to engage the basement dweller called Zak in a discussion of his definition of glass jaw -- because if someone has a glass jaw, it shouldn't take a "step up" or a "world class opponent" to knock them out -- glass is glass, and guys with glass jaws don't get far enough for most people to ever hear about them. His "explanation" was that there are "degrees of glass jaws" -- by which someone who gets KOed by a world-class opponent, even if they have taken hard punches many times before, has a glass jaw.

Zak made an entire thread boldly predicting that Stiverne's "glass" would be exposed by Arreola ... trollboy's track record is, well, pure glass.

Exactly. Some people are naturally athletic and that's good. Not everyone is a natural fighter and it takes many years to develop the right technique and defense to be able to fight at the upper level. Mitchell never learned enough before getting overmatched and couldn't just get away with raw power any more. Another fighter is Pete Radamacher. Here is an Olympic champion with plenty of amateur experience who was thrown in against top pro's from go and it pretty much ruined him. Pro experience takes time. Especially with little amateur experience. Nice to see someone else gets this. :good

Stupid ass argument. You're probably not a trained chef, but if you go into a restaurant and your food tastes like **** you have the right to ***** and say it's not right don't you?

Sure, because you decided to spend the money. No one forced you to though just like no one forces you to watch fighters you hate for reasons you clearly don't understand. If you don't understand how a meal is prepared and whats in it and order it anyway THAN you have no reason to ***** if you don't like it because you're an idiot for doing so. Same thing in this situation. :nono
