I think America will protest Vlad's winning the gold medal, world military championships, International championships, etc. Why doesn't some protest the judges of Chavez/Vera, Pac/Bradley, etc.? What about the referee in the Khan/Peterson fight. However about disqualifying Ward when he ran across the ring with a huge headbutt?! Ward won by intentional illegal headbutt! any rematch wanted by povetkins team is money fueled only...no one and i mean no one can say with a straight face povetkin would do anything to stop wlad or even out box him... people are letting the clinching over shadow one thing here... when povetkin tried to box wladimir he got his ass handed to him.. only when he started to rush in low was he held alot which is why im guessing the ref didnt stop it..povetkin hasnt got the tools to beat wlad....does not mean he is not a gd heavyweight tho...
A polite and respectable protest. Wladimir doesn't need american cheap tactics to win, he could have made a way more entertaining fight.
Calm down Farmy, he isn't trying to overturn anything just highlighting that he didn't get a fair chance to fight his fight due to an incompetent ref. It's not like he is accusing Wlad of poisoning him or anything.
The ref did take a point away from Wlad. The real show here is Povetkin wants another 7 million dollars for a re-match.
its as well i already know the names you have mentiond know nothing about the sport...so i dont really care about their opinions they are trolls and haters with agendas.. everyone knows.when povetkin tried to box he got outboxed he had a plan to come in below waist high to get inside and wlad had an answer for it.the good old clinch...the ref should have warned both of them for it and broke up earlier when they did come together... these boards are full of haters who only complain about wlad and nothing about povetkin coming in to low which is ILLEGAL
In the RBR before the fight I said "oh no, Luis Pabon is the referee" He's ****, I knew there would be some sort of fuss after the fight

Povetkin should protest the entire fight. He should be given his WBA belt back and given a rematch with a fair ref. Matter of fact WLad should be stripped of his titles and banned from boxing for a year for cheating in an entire fight ripping fans off.
