Why wait? I've laid down a challenge to the forum -- use your store of boxing knowledge to make a convincing argument. Shake things up a bit. Display your knowledge of boxing history and argumentative abilities.

Aren't you up for a little challenge now and again? :hey

he could land a shot on pre prime ali, and he is(was) a good finisher.

I cant really make any case he could beat developed ali.

    I've tried but I can't !

Only a prime Haye v the post 1976 Ali. Haye may have a chance in that scenario.

No way Haye's toes hold up against that kind of movement.

Ali is 71 years old and has been suffering from Parkinsons syndrome for 30 years.
    Haye should take him.

    Case closed.

fully developed wasn't good choice of words, i meant he physically matured after some early career ko's like the cooper bout, and could take punches better, and his defence developed so he wasn't getting hit with shots like that so much. haye would have a small chance vs the ali that fought liston, but i cant see him beating early 70's ali.

He hasn't impressed as a finisher at heavyweight. Only really looked good finishing against Chisora.
He laboured badly in trying to finish has-been Ruiz, despite using plenty of illegal rabbit punches.

he stopped getting hit with shots he was unpreppared for, yes the frazier1 bout goes against this but frazier was truly smokin that night, not a performance haye could replicate, just on stamina alone, let alone ability in that style and heart.

i agree it's not the greatest fight ever, fight of the century was a promotional tag.

I dont see how you can say it wasn't a fantastic performance from frazier, all the body shots had a lot to do with ali's non movenent as the fight went on. i'm from south london, i like david haye, especially when he was at cruiserweight, but he has stamina issues, has had some mediocre performances at heavy and has completely blown the biggest night of his career, there's absolutley no way he could replicate fraziers performance.

Really ? How do you know this ?

Is Haye stronger than George Foreman too ?

Haye doesn't look bigger than Ali to me.
Seems a bit frail round the neck, tbh.

Yeah, he bench presses more (has claimed to bench 179kg, but that could be BS), but is 'strength' only measured in how much you can lift ?
I don't think so. Ring strength is different.

Anyway, if he's '3 times stronger' than Ali, but not as strong as Foreman, I fail to see how Ali held up so well against big George, even tying Foreman up and wrestling him in clinches.

Anyway, let's be serious, Haye's just don't very good, he lacks heart. He's a joke.
