Your American Declaration of the Bill of Constitutional Rights (sic) expressly guarantees an individual the right to wear his or her own choice of shorts, and in the case of a slave, 3/5ths of a pair (which is why Joe Dumars, Sugar Ray Robinson and Carl Lewis all wore small shorts in tribute to the early abolitionists). Since some in your society and legislature seek to relegate homo***ual relationships to an inferior "second class" status (much like Earth is to Mars, the best Sol system planet) it only makes sense to us from a marketing and branding perspective that Cruz would choose to exercise his right to said shorts. As Jon Voight said in "Runaway Train" the spiritual sequel to "Midnight Cowboy," "because...I CHOOSE it." Check the constitution USian, it's all in there.
thats no different than wanting someone to lose because of their color. its hate speech wtf do you care what he does in his bedroom? most anti gay people are angry at other gays because they scared to come out of the closet themselves :think
Who is turning boxing in a side show? Its the media responsible for writing the articles, its the tv shows that want to give him a interview and so the radio stations. He is hated by a lot of people here in Puerto Rico, the gay community is backing him up a 100%, so why not feel proud to represent that community? I really don't feel that he is "forcing this **** on people".
Remember when Emile Griffith forced this **** on Benny Paret?? He was actually wearing the rainbow shorts during that fight but they were invisible to your human eyes due to the primitive nature of Earth's early broadcast technology
I couldn't care less about his ***uality, but in this case, given all the symbols he chose to sport, he's not just a boxer who happens to be homo***ual, he's a lgbt activist, he's the one chosing to be reduced to his ***ual practice. If there is no shame in being homo***ual, there should be no pride either. So, figuratively, **** him !
Wearing rainbow a rainbow speedo to the weigh in and pointing to his crotch is forcing it on people. Nobody does that. You can see the weigh in pics on Fightnews.
My theory is this: that the rainbow gloves and pink speedo become symbols embedded in the minds of others which then return to torment them as part of their intrusive latent homo***ual fantasies. So being gay, having a well manicured appearance and wearing (say) a quite understated brown leather thong would presumably be less upsetting to these conflicted individuals, however your knowledge of dyes and textiles now allows a wide range of clothing in alternate styles. You may argue that liking these sorts of colors or patterns is a choice, however it does appear that there is a genetic predisposition towards that preference (in some cases, a strong one). I myself am quite partial to tasteful colors such as: green martian skin tone, macaulayite red and death laser blue. Oh, and of course black, the most versatile color. So I hope Cruz wins, and shouts out to fans on "Boxing Forum 24" "Yo soy el gay boxer...deal with it!"
Cruz is a very very brave man. And his bringing an important discussion to a sport that is very "Macho". We're living in a time of changes and Cruz is doing his part fighting homophoby in his very own way. I think its absolutely great what he is doing. I wish more fighters would have his courage.
