I think you're underrated Ortiz' boxing skills.

 

Are we sure this isn't the Molina that Khan fought? I think he is actually signed to Golden Boy.

 

i dont think there trying to set it up. yeah if he beats molina he could get it. at least there gunna make him earn it. but vic doesnt even deserve a chance to fight molina so i guess there not really making him earn it. just let vic and berto fight at 154

 

if you cant differentiate the difference between a ko loss, sd loss and ud loss then you havent followed boxing for very long.

I like ortiz for this fight. hes probably the most frustrating boxer out there, shows signs of great boxing ability and real potential then lets himself down mentally. sometimes i think he beats himself, or gets himself into trouble by being too agressive and not fighting smart enough. if he could be more disciplined in the ring he could be one of the best boxers out there, hes got the skills, the power and the speed.

hes like the american amir khan, an exciting but flawed boxer

 

Ortiz isn't getting by Molina without a massive ****ing robbery.

 

That would be a pretty evenly matched fight.

 

this is all smoke and mirrors from GBP. they're just paving the way for Canelo to get his hands on another title the easy way. just like his first one.


they don't want Moliona fighting one of the better guys at LM because he may lose his title. if that happens, Canelo would have to take his chances against who ever it is. and that's too risky.

so, what they do instead is, get Molina a soft fight against a much smaller guy (Ortiz) put it on a big card to try and make it look all relevant and ****, then claim that Canelo would be having a big fight against who ever wins that dud of a fight.
Canelo crushes which ever one of them wins, then is lauded around as a legit champion once again.

the fact that you can see right through GBP and their **** doesn't bother them in the slightest. they'll continue to play the game in this way and further decay the sport of boxing.
HBO did the right thing in getting rid of them for putting on far too many dud fights and miss-matches. **** them.

 

I agreed with everything accept for that. He regularly rehydrates to 160+ at Welter. I think he's a good sized Jr Middle. but we'll see.

 

canelo alvarez is not crushing carlos molina.

i know that james had a bum right shoulder but if molina could take kirklands shot he sure as sh-it is going to handle canelos.

alvarez is going to look absolutely average against molina.
