Some of you have Vitali too low and Wlad too high. Jack Johnson would be John Ruiz if he was fighting today. How anyone can list him is laughable.

Louis is my favorite heavyweight and the greatest in my opinion but I don't think he translates to the best h2h. I like the list though and the addition of Bowe. At he's peak (Holyfield 1) I think he'd be trouble for any heavyweight in history.

Lol, I don't hate Vits. I hate him being overrated by moronic nuthuggers and people who want him to be an ATG JUST because he's white. Im white, but that's not how I judge fighters or their careers. Vits is a tough fighter. He's big, awkward and throes lots of punches. H2h he's a handful. But his resume sucks and Im of the opinion fighters should be judged on who they beat, not who we think they could beat.

Wasn't that an old Larry Holmes that had been off for nearly two years and only took the fight because Don King brought him a suitcase full of money?

Come on bro, I don't mid you weighing in here, but use some logic.

Did you know Sam MCvey was a teenager for the first two matches, and just 20 for the thrid?

Did you know Langford was also 20, and but 156 pounds moving up from the lower divisons when he lost a decision to Johnson?

Jeanette had a losing record, and was a novice for most of the matches with Johnson

Giving Johnson a lot of credit here is a mistake many make who do not pay attention to the dates. Now, if Johnson fought and beat these guys in their prime when he was champion, that would have been inpressive!

Jab's list isn't bad. I think Foreman and Frazier are a tad high.

Johnson fought them when he could/had no other choices. He should have undoubtedly given Langford the rematch after becoming champion. It wasn't going to happen in the US, but promoters made more than generous offers for the to fight in France and Australia. Im very critical of Johnsons championship reign.
