    People on Twitter - including many prominent boxing journalists - are tearing Monaghan apart, calling him a mediocre club brawler and "poor man's John Duddy", giving Top Rank lots of abuse for showing him on the PPV ...but FFS, he just destroyed a guy in three rounds, it was a pretty entertaining opener to set the mood for the PPV, he puts asses in seats, and honestly the dude probably is top 10 at 175lbs, which isn't terribly deep. Everybody needs to chill. FAR worse boxers have appeared on PPV cards, and in higher spots than in the 1st bout.
