the worlds first openly gay active boxer ever (Emile Griffith had a wife and kid and didnt admit he was bi***ual until after he retired) Orlando Cruz comes into the ring for the biggest match of his career wearing Pink Gloves and a Rainbow Skirt with his corner waving the rainbow flag, the crowd was on the side of the rough and tough legendary Orlando Salido, Cruz gave it his all before being Knocked Out in round seven but winning over the crowd with his bravery through the fight.
The Film companies must already be bidding

    what a fight

Haha. Orlando cruz was begging it with the lgbt coloured shorts and pink gloves. Asking to be hated. He also seems to be one of those twink types who ties his shirt into a knot at the naval and receives rather than gives. I can imagine him in a gay bar being that flamboyant flirter the big gruff gays hit on

It would be **** though, the crowd was booing him - everyone was rooting for the Mexican, he got beat up, looked completely **** and incapable of harming his opponent. I mean it would be quite anti-climatic.

Cruz was really beggin' to be hated, with all the theater he put up before the fight; also, strangely, all the medias are totally silent about him now, strange since you rarely hear something about a boxer, but this time medias were really happy to spread his story all around and overhyping him to the moon!

Imagine if he would have won, he actually would be one of the most famous boxers in the world, if not "the"!

Thank you very much, Salido! :happy

You are all so pathetic. I am a gay boxer with a good amateur record, and I can name you a dozen gay boxers you've heard of and admired and have no clue are gay, and 2 of them had titles. As always, the homophobes are the closet cases who've never had the balls to climb through the ropes. The crowd didn't hate Cruz, and those who booed him did so because he was a Puerto Riqueno fighting a Mexican, an old classic rivalry. Real men don't use words like "***" and **** like that. In my day I sparred both Pazienza and Tony Petronelli, and they didn't give a **** that I am gay. Boxers and trainers never do, unless someone hits on them, which no serious boxer would do. no, its the Pillsbury Doughboy wussy fans who are homophobic. What a bunch of losers you guys are. Cruz lost an honorable fight against a guy with years more experience. In case you are too stupid to know it, Mikey Garcia beat the **** out of Salido. He is good, but not great, and come the rematch, maybe Cruz will win.
