    Ran across this odd clip online. Carnera's basically playing tag with a kangaroo.

    Carnera's 6'5", so kangaroo is a pretty large specimen. It's actually fairly impressive how easily Carnera does this, considering how strong these animals are.

    My Dad told me that they used to have boxing kangaroos at the Goose Fair in Nottingham in the 50s. The local tough would agree to lace up the gloves, and the kangaroo would jus punch him silly. One of my friends from uni did a gap year, where he had to transport wild kangaroos to a different area, in cages. One of them got pissed off with him, and knocked him out cold with a single punch!

    It makes you wonder if any of the old fair kangaroos ever developed dementia pugilistica in old age. I assume an animal version exists, but the small head and powerful neck muscles lead me to suspect that kangaroos don't get concussions easily.

    As far as the video goes, notice how Carnera barely flinches when he brushes off the attempts to kick him.

    A kangaroo throws a punch exactly like a human. Their repatoir of punches is limited, but their hands are much faster. Fights between agresive testosterone soaked male kangaroos, often result in a fatality.
