While I agree Wlad went for it in the 7th he was incredibly sloppy in the 7th. Most of his aggression came from wild leaping left hooks, weak uppercuts inside and a hell of a lot of pushing leading to the knock downs. Wlad should have created more space to finish Povetkin he smothered his own work.

Haye for me is a better finisher than this old version of Wlad.

How can you be so sure that Chisora's chin is much better than Povetkin's?
Povetkin had never been down before Wlad. Haye hit Wlad flush a few times with all the power of a fly yet he was able to KO Chisora.

I think Haye's only chance is his elusiveness. Run like he did against Valuev and Wlad and hope a pot shot lands (although he couldn't put Wlad or Valuev down) or get injured in training camp and the fight never happens.

POvetkin isn't a giant like Wlad/Valuev though, he's actually smaller than David. Totally different fighter calls for a different gameplan.

People using the old "Povetkin took Wlad's shots so he can take Haye's" are just stupid.

Haye is a counter puncher, Wlad hits much harder but would not KO/TKO Povetkin or Chisora.

Wlad's power is on level with Wilder, Price and Stiverne, only difference is there not afraid to use it.

Haye proved he can deal with pressure against Chisora, who is much better inside than Povetkin. Unlike Chisora Povetkin's got no head movement, tailor made for Haye, he stops him 9 times out of 10.

What does Povetkin bring that makes people think he beats Haye?

Good point that Povetkin is not a giant but I'm not sure that would change Haye's game plan he used for Valuev and Wlad. Haye was knocked out by Thompson and knocked down by Mormeck. I think it would be very dangerous for Haye to go toe to toe with Sasha IMO

I'm not a fan, but Povetkin brings nothing that could trouble him other than a punchers chance.
