Does anyone believe Fraziers greatness took a hit with his losses to Foreman?

Yes there is, the fight has been shown in its entirety on BBC several times with the elapsed time counted by the late Harry Carpenter. Unless you think that Carpenter and the BBC were in on the "conspiracy"?
The extra time , counted on a stop watch was between 5 & 6 seconds.

    End of conspiracy.

This is very true. Amazing after nearly 50 years Ali still has his haters. Get over it. Conspiracy theories are for the uneducated. Ali is rated the greatest hwt who ever lived. End of story already!

I have him 6 because of his short peak, but in any event he is comfortably inside the Top 10.

H2H, the Frazier of 1969-70 is an extremely tough proposition for most any heavy that laced them up.

I don't know what McVey's problem with Frazier is. He says he's in his top 12, yet goes out of his way to discredit him. Did Frazier sit on the title after FOTC? Yes, and that's why I'd rank him around 11 all time and not higher. But seriously, maybe he should have fought 30 more tomato cans like Foreman did to pad his record to 62-4-1. Would that make you feel better?

I had Frazier at no 10 for years , but Holmes and Lewis came and went and pushed him down lower.

It get propagated because people prefer their myths to reality especially when they can use that myth to try to discredit a fighter they despise for whatever reason.

Once again ,I dont have a problem with Frazier at all, my problem is his fans stating that he cleared out the division when he did not.

You mention Foreman, after beating Frazier like a child, Foreman fought the number 4, the number 3, and the number 1 challengers all in the space of 16 months.
    That's a better title reign than Frazier's,imo.
His first fight back as a challenger was against no 5 Ron Lyle who had just stopped Shavers.
Foreman followed this up by rematching Frazier
Tomato cans? Foreman fought 37 men before he challenged for the title ,21 of them had winning records, he fought Chuck Wepner in his 4th fight and Gregorio Peralta in his 14th.

The irony here is that one of those "faded has beens" should have went 4-0 against the three fighters that you deem as being "higher regarded."

Wepner's rating in the fight- Foreman's 4th pro bout- was higher than the ratings for the Frazier "world title fights" I posted earlier.

By the way, Frazier Top 5 is a terrible call. He wasn't even in Eddie Futch's top 5.
