    Only it wasn't 100 pounds just like it wasn't 1993 it was 2003 :lol::rofl

There was not a 100 pound advantage between Roy and Lennox.

We also saw Jones UD up and coming Hopkins, destroy Malinga, remember him? the guy who beat Benn, gave Eubank all he could handle and easily beat Robin Reid who Calzaghe struggled like hell with. We saw him blow away Tate, school and hurt Toney in a way that no one else, not even huge heavyweights, have been able to do, he shcooled Thornton who should have got the decision against Eubank. He beat McCallum, blew away Griffin in a round, schooled Reggie Johnson who beat Steve Collins, he won a heavyweight tile, he was P4P number 1 in the World for years, the list goes on.

Meanwhile Calzaghe won a vacant, lowly regarded title by beating a past it Eubank and then defended it at Cardiff Ice Rink against nobodies for ten years.

of course he was, if he said it at 36/37. After all If its true that Lennox gets better with age, then boy he must be hotshot now at potbellied 46.

since the study I am quoting is based on an aggregate sample of values from thousands of individuals of varying rates of ageing, why is this a valid point for countering the study I quoted? please explain.

I was talking post ruiz and why he didn't fight more HWs, whatever you imagined me to be talking.

Clearly you imagine quite a lot.

Are you aware of how many vacant belts Roy won? Do those not count either?:rofl

Of course Roy won vacant titles and yes he fought a few bums, but he also did a lot of other things, he didn't make a career of it like Calzaghe. Why can't you give the guy even the slightest bit of credit?

    natural 100lb advantage.

Again, you need to read whats written on those posts, not what you imagine, else you are going to keep going round and round the M25 in circles all week long.

No such thing as a natural 100 pound advantage when one guy has grown into a 199 pound athlete and the other is 245. See, human performance is what I dabble in and there is not such thing as a 'natural' advantage when two athletes have trained for years. What you are doing is trying to justify and make excuses. It isn't working. They didn't announce Roy as 160 pounds before the Ruiz fight did they?:rofl

I and others have already answered you. It wasn't history. And we told you specifically why.

I'll try this one more way to explain it to you. In this one, your rampant imagination might come in useful.

so ...lets pretend RJJ never existed.... now if Joe Calzaghe came back and took Vitali's title, would it be history, (a former SMW taking the HW title)?

After all no SMW has done it yet.

How many top 3 SMWs do you think Jones faces after he won the title?

Vitali Klitschko is not THE Heavyweight Champion further more how many times do people have to tell you trinket ABC belts don't matter? How many times? These 'belts' don't matter. They were not around when all the fighters you are comparing Roy to did what they did. Do you understand this? There was no option to fight some guy for a trinket belt they had to fight THE man. Fitzsimmons didn't have the option to fight one of 4 guys he had to fight THE guy. Moore didn't have that option, Foster didn't have that option, Conn didn't have it either. Spinks had the option but didn't disgrace himself. Do you understand what we are even discussing here? You are trying to twist this into something entirely different. Jones was not playing on a level playing field compared to the other fighters he had the option of being a man like they were and fighting Lennox Lewis or being a handpicking ***** and trying to fight for a worthless paper trinket. He took the path of least resistance as usual. Do you understand this?

You are trying to compare Oranges to Watermelons not Apples to Apples to fit your demented agenda.:rofl

so... Joe beating Vitali wouldn't be history?

Actually you are quite, right, a SMW (former LMW) has already taken a HW title. It wouldn't be history at all.

Everyone knows the difference between the champion and a titleholder. But a titleholder is still a titleholder, whether you want it to be so or not. Its still a major feat that no one else has done yet, and noone has achieved Fitzsimmons feat have they either. Not sure why they cant both be feats to you.
