I cringe at the thought of what Foster would do to Roy's Glass Jaw. It would be brutal.

Much better? No. But Roy Jones isn't consistently touted among the likes of Charles and Moore like Foster is. It's debatable whether Foster is even a top ten ATG in the division.

Yes. It's Foster's beaten opposition that is that bad. Without considering head-to-head Foster would have a hard time being ranked in top 250 all-time.

I find this statement either a deliberate attempt at provocation, or the results of an attack of billiousness. Who did Foster avoid at 175lbs?
His lhvy scalps beat Jones's imo.

Jones could easily outspeed Foster. On the other hand,Bob could crack a ko blow on Roy's chin.

Foster didn't fight square up with his hands around his face. jones would have to work to get around the formidable foster jab; he couldn't leap in and pot shot him. Foster would not let him control distance and, with the better jab, would make Jones stand and think.
Then he would hit him. I honestly cannot see this fight going more than 4-5 rounds. Jones never had the heart for a fight, and certainly not the chin.

The opposition Fosterwon over, when compared to other fighters from history, is quite miserable, regardless whether he missed anyone or not (I don't have free time to debate this part).
What are 3 best scalps on Foster's 175 lbs resume, in your opinion?

And which fighter had his jab actually working against Jones, at any weight? Regardless whether their jab was as good as Foster's, some of them had better handspeed to balance that out. What does Foster do when his jab is NOT working? What is his plan B?

The next question will be three best scalps on those three opponents' resumes. But you don't have to answer that, unless I give my own list of three best scalps on Jones' lhw resume, which I'll try to, if I have time (need to do something for a female friend this or next week, which I need to improvise for).

The minute Bob hits Roy with that Left Hook, it's over. The Cold**** would do some permanent damage, and Roy would never be the same again.

In your parallel universe defensively-mediocre old Dick Tiger was down and out the first half minute of the fight?

I just don't get all this, that's all. It took Foster 11 full minutes of trying to land two solid punches on Dick Tiger. But it is seen as a certainty that he would land something solid on near-prime Jones? Foster's hooks were slow and predictable. Unless you tie Jones up and chain him to a wall, the possibility that Foster lands a clean, flush hook on his head is pretty much null.
