Patterson apparently offered to train Tyson at one point, after Tyson's split with Rooney. Assuming for a minute that Tyson actually listens to advice and does some dedicated training, how would he have done with an approach like Patterson's later, post-Liston style?
Mm. He would have learnt a bit of longevity. The thing is Tyson didn't care about his rep, name whatever he made money that's it he used the bones of a once great fighter and kept going with half the ability for a long time. IF he listened he'd chug on and do some big things and learnt a lot from Floyd about being a man.
