lomachenko only has 6 fights in the pro ranks. rigondeaux has 12. they're equally experienced in the ams. it's going to be very interesting if/when the fight happens. i will be a mega fight. hopefully they get paid accordingly.

You know that Lomachenko achieved everything Rigo did in the amateurs and more, plus he only lost 1 time (which he avenged)?
Arum calls Vasyl the greatest amateur ever and Roy Jones who is a fan of Rigo said that Lomachenko has the best amateur record he's ever seen.

But at this point Rigo would run rings around Lomachenko, who has only had the 1 pro fight.
This will be a great fight though it it happens in time.
Respect for Loma and his team for saying it's not the right time - but also it is just common sense.

We really don't know what would happen. Lomachenko is larger than Rigo by a fair margin and we know that Lomachenko isn't going to be looking for the home run, he'll be boxing and throwing combinations so could very well do what the smaller Marroquin did, to a greater extent.
It isn't the right time in that Lomachenko wants a title first to create history. Before Rigo beat Donaire he was 'just an amateur' as well.
I love Rigo but we need some perspective. Lomachenko vs Gamboa is a more even fight imo, I'd like to see it.

Why do fans feel the need to **** on either of these guys? SMH Both of their records are unbelievable. Personally, there is something more aesthetically pleasing about Rigo's style, but Loma is a wonder to watch also. To try and pick apart either of these guys resume's is disgraceful. They are kings of this sport! At this point if you base it just on resume, then obviously Loma is the clear winner, but the difference between them isn't statistically significant enough to comfortably predict an outright winner.

    + 1.

You won't see me dissing either of these guys now, in the leadup, or after the fight. We're talking about 2 of the most accomplished amateurs ever and 2 of the best prospects in years. They're special talents and model professionals.

Trying to tear down Rigondeaux or Lomachenko just because one doesn't like their fans or some other silly reason just exposes the bias of the person bashing them. If someone prefers one guy over the other, awesome, go nuts- but these guys don't deserve an ounce of hate. If anything, they should both be making more money than they will if they fight each other.

Still take the very boring Rigo in this one. At the current time anyway. chenko only had one damn bout so far though, settle down.

Loma VS Rigo fight would be massive but the thing is it would be a shame that one of them would have a loss on their record after the fight. they were both great amateurs but I would give lomachenko the slight edge with being 8 years younger and having a slightly better amateur tournament record, I was thinking earlier that it would be great if he wins world title in 2 fight and then beats rigo as well in his 3 fight but if he looses people will look at his record and think he is not that good if he is 2 and 1 even though that is not the case because they are both massively talented fighters.

Ah yes he did. Do your research. Lomachenko also has an additional junior world gold and a val barker trophy. 2x Olympic golds in different weight divisions, 2x World champ golds in different divisions as well as the equivalent of the Pan am games with the European championships. And the world cup was a shitty little tournament that only ran for a few years.
Lomachenko had the better amateur record with only one loss. FACT.
