His 'sources' are that Roy and his people 'talked' about a fight with Lennox, Tyson, etc. For some reason that happened at every weightclass he stopped in and the fights never happened :roflatsch

The one time he had a contract in front of him already signed by his opponent that he and his promoter agreed to he wouldn't sign and priced himself out

Did you see the graphic they put up? 4 fighters HBO wanted him to fight.. He fought 2 of them almost immediately Rico self owned...

I also proved to you with fact, that Roy nearly cleared out all the top 10 LHW's..

He had Collins in the ring with him and wouldn't fight him either so that makes 2 of 5 that he fought. Merchant absolutley obliterated Roy and confronted him on his handpicking ways. Roy had no answer and Murad was forced to just sit back and do a snaggly toothed smile while Larry Merchant schooled Roy on his awful opposition he was fighting :rofl

 

Spinks was not as big as you are making him out to be he struggled to get to 200 pounds for the Holmes fight.

 

Hopkins he already dominated and wouldn't move up and fight him, and DM woudln't come over.. I have been over this a million times..

So Roy beat 3 of the 4 on the graphic.

Collins was an unranked LHW that had been inactive for 2 years!! There was no demand for that fight, and you would be here bashing Roy today had he taken it... Roy beat the majority of the top 10 fighters at LHW in every year he was ranked there...

I cannot see the vid, but I reckon its the one where Steve Collins is in the ring right? Its a hillarious vid. Jones is extremely funny and his antics gets a giggle out for me.

The point is not to be mistaken though. At this point in time even HBO is fed up with Jones picking up huge paychecks while coming up with lame excuses as to why so and so is not an option. Look for the ripped fuel brigade to spin it some other way.
