Haven't seen any threads for this fight. Going to be a good one I think. I think Provo will knock him out. Mike has poor defense and Ruslan is too heavy handed. But its a Top Rank fight so analyzing styles is pointless.
Very surprised Alvarado is bookies favorite, gonna drop a ton @2.87 on a Provodnikov stoppage. He's a small WW so don't think the cut will affect him
I think Alvarado can outbox this guy. I didn't at first, but now I'm thinking it shouldn't be much trouble. Rios uses better pressure than Provodnikov and ALvardo made him ineffective.
Alvarado by decision. Provodnikov was fighting on Friday Night Fights for a reason, he's not that good.
Yup. And he got outboxed by inferior comp a couple of times on fnf. Alvardo ud. Prov is kind of getting overrated due to his last fight.
Rios nearly had Alvarado outta there in the 2nd fight until he got tired. Prescott was putting a beatdown on him until he gassed. Provodnikov was throwing til the final second against Bradley who was pretty much saved by the bell, don't think Alvarado can withstand 12 rounds of that kind of pressure
it will depend on how the fight goes. everybody knows that provodnikov will get outboxed if alvarado stays disciplined. if mike tries to brawl with him, which i think will eventually happen, he get's ko'd. siberian rocky in 10.
It seems that Alvarado has already taken too much punishment in both the Rios wars. I'd like to pick him for the Decision but all it's gonna take is one shot...:!:
I think it's a toss-up, but if Provodnikov lands on Alverado he has the power to stop him, but I am not psychic..............
I will be shocked if it goes to a decision, Mike fights the same every time the Russian is going to put a beating on him like I said if it goes the distance I'm shocked .:hat
