I would like everybody's thoughts on the upcoming fight between Donaire and Darchinyan on Nov. 9. I remember watching the fight when they fought back in 07 and left very impressed with the power of Donaire's left hook as he knocked Darchinyan out. Since then Donaire's career has taken off and he won fighter of the year in 2012. This will be an interesting rematch because both fighters are moving up in weight to fight at 126. One of the Darchinyan's weakness is that he leaves himself open to the left hook when he lunges in and we could have a repeat of their first fight if Darchinyan makes the same mistake. All I know is that this fight will be exciting as you know the Raging Bull loves to bring it and the Filipino Flash always tries to go for the KO. My prediction is Donaire KO's Vic in one of the middle rounds.

I can see this happening if Darchinyan decides to play it safe but with his hatred towards Donaire I think he will be aggressive and try to go for the KO because that's his only chance to win the fight.

Well if Donaire didn't give Darchinyan his rematch, people would think Donaire was ducking him. It's better now than never and it will be a great fight because Darchinyan is has it.

Vic KO's Donaire something eerily similar to JMM's KO of Pacquiao.

He needs to KO him early like what he did to Arce.

Well both fighters are moving up in weight so it's a safe fight for both of them.

    Donaire T/KO 7

Part of me says this fight sucks because neither fighter should be fighting at 126 in my opinion.

Part of me says this fight is acceptable because neither fighter belongs at 126 right now, a rematch is a worthy storyline to some small degree given the stakes and notoriety of their first match, and given that Donaire is coming off a big loss and Darchinyan has both shown large regression but also still signs of some life.
