Name me one that Larry Holmes KOed in one round.

Sergey Lyakhovich is completely shot. He had just two wins (over clubfighters) in 7 years, and had been brutally stopped in his two previous fights. He came out of retirement to fight Deontay. Wlad wouldn't fight someone that bad.

Wlad shouldn't fight someone that bad?? lol. too right he shouldn't, hes supposed to be HW champion not a novice like Wilder (though admittedly WIlder needs to get a move on soon or he will be the next David Price).

But that doesn't stop him dragging the titles down by defending against unskilled non contending bums repeatedly.

Im not sure where to put him, maybe 10 or 11. Thing is though, everything looks better in hindsight. Larry Holmes is rated highly by most people, yet he never unified the title, avoided some fighters (or atleast he didnt fight them, cant say who avoided who), and didnt have outstanding opposition (good but not great). What he did do was rule the division for a long time, just like Wlad.

I still rank Larry higher than Wlad, mainly because of wlads embarrassing losses. But i don't see how you can consider Larry to be great and think of wlad as a bum. There is not that big a difference between them.

Wladimir has mostly fought his mandatories:

IBF: Austin, Brewster, Rahman, Peter, Thompson
    WBO: Chambers
    WBA: Povetkin

Or unified with other titleholders: Ibragimov, Haye

Or fought undefeated boxers: Brock, Wach, Pianeta, Chagaev

Rahman was the IBF mandatory after Povetkin pulled out in 2008.

Wach and Pianeta were undefeated and in their respective primes. The only questionable opponent was Mormeck.

wach and planeta suck though and weren't even close to being top 15 heavyweights

And this is why numbers alone are so misleading. You think 'undefeated' and you think 'oh, they must have been pretty good.'
And then you watch them fight and that notion is destroyed forever.

Honestly, all three were total garbage.

are you serious? and look at it being the weakest heavyweight era ever.

any tough, good, consistent fighter in history would trouble him immensely.
