I like how a little Manny hype is starting to trickle up in this forum. What's sad if he gets slid again and what little fan base Manny has left lessens.

Wlad has NEVER lost a decision. Floyd clearly lost against Castillo, but got a gift decision from corrupt "judges". Deal with it :deal

Wlad is 10-0 in decisions. There's no blueprint.

The real question however is; if The Klitschko brothers were born as midgets, would they dominate the welterweight division?

Well ofcourse Stylez makes fight but the way that Floyd outclassed JMM is remarkable.
Outclassed maybe is the wrong word, I think utterly dominated JMM in every aspect of the game is a better phrase to use here.

Floyd looked like he was from another planet when he fought JMM.

Because 50 is oh so believeable, and he made just under what he would have made to fight Guerrero, so i dont get your point. He made more than he would have to face a more dangerous opponent in Alvarez. And to my recollection. It was Manny who backed out 1st

If that makes floyd a counter puncher than every slick black boxer in history is one

Floyd was always more than just that or he'd have more than one loss on his résumé

I didnt say he can't counter, I said that he's more than that

Much more actually, he doesn't have the power a counter puncher usually needs

There's no such thing as a simple catch all term for counter punching

For example, Marquez uses timing to catch someone, with traps. He guesses what the other guy will do, sets himself up to to let the guy do it, and catch them.

Another form of countering is using athleticism, for example ali or roy jones. They use their natural speed and evasiveness to avoid a punch, and faster reactions to hit back

*****s would say floyd is a master of both. By I'd argue that actually his trap setting is nowhere near the level of Marquez.
Floyd is an excellent reflex hitter, and his defense is excellent,

But anyone with a jab has always got through and made him look very ordinary- cotto for example

He's no James toney, but he's got more tools than most
