donaire should be fighting tooth and nail for a rematch with rigo, what sense does it make to rematch someone youv'e battered and completley ignore the guy who just whooped you, I know its not as easy as just saying i want a rematch and boom its done, but ive not heard a peep from donaire about fighting rigo again, only thing ive heard is him making excuses to why didnt win the fight

Did you mean Darchinyan might do much better than expected because he has wanted this rematch for years? Yeah I think your right because Darchinyan will train his ass off and treat this as his fight that will define his career. Donaire is in for a brutal war but I believe Donaire comes out on top.

Darchinyan to his credit put a beating on Mijares and Arce. The fight with Mares was a SD and I thought Darchinyan won it 115-111.

It has the potential to be. Darchinyan has been wanting this fight for over 6 years so you know he's going to bring it.

Donaire has repeatedly said he wants a rematch with Rigondeaux but only at 126. Donaire can't make 122 anymore because he will be weight drained. Some fighters just out grow their weight class and Donaire was weight drained in his last fight with Rigo.

Darchinyan is not shot. He's coming off two big wins and nobody has been able to knock him out other than Donaire himself.

Citing two wins from over 4 years and 3 divisions ago along with a joke scorecard for the Mares fight does not suddenly make this a compelling or warranted match-up.

I picked Donaire by ko. I think Vic is way past his best before date. I think it's time for Darchinyan to cash out his chips.
