Same here I think Groves has a chance but I think Froch just matches up against very well. Goves will want to be on the front font ideally but I can see Carl letting that happen.

Groves punch power could be a deciding factor - if Carl can hold the best Groves throws at him then I don't see Groves standing at the end

I guess most people will be backing Froch because of his big fight experience. Obviously Carl has knock out power but I rate Groves a lot higher than A couple of froch previous boxers in Mack and Bute. I think Groves did a better number on Glen Johnson than Froch did. Andre Ward schooled Froch. Froch however did do a good job in his rematch vs Kessler BUT I think Groves must of schooled Kessler in sparring and is encouraged by how Kessler was landing on Froch the later the fight went on.

Groves punch resistance will be his downfall in this fight, whether he starts well or not, Froch will hurt, drop him and finish him.

Have you got a link for this interview? I would like to have a listen

One thing I have learned about Froch is he likes to talk a lot about what went on during sparring, 1st he says he knocked Groves out now he apparently talking about Kessler sparring him?

If a boxer never had self belief he would never win. It's going to be a good fight and one most people are backing Froch and others like myself are backing Saint to hand him a loss.

I will watch the Ifilm later tonight.

Groves has got a decent chance if he can stay out of range & frustrate Froch into making mistakes I just hope it's a good fight enjoy watching both fighters.

I agree with the view it may just be 12 months too early for Groves I just see at some point Froch getting through with some big shots after the middle rounds & getting the stoppage.

Carl's power is being overrate here, it's unlikely he will be able to take out Groves with one shot, also Froch lacks speed, Groves early on will win a couple rounds if he keeps it at range and uses his better footwork, however Carl's supior stamina and his ability to absorb Groves shots will mean eventually i reckon around round 9- 10 he will get to Groves and stop him, wouldn't surprise me if Froch stops him while being behind on the cards. Someone said Groves could beat Ward, not a hope remember Ward is way better then Froch number 2 p4p groves would be hitting shadows all night and lose a wide UD

The key to the Froch/Groves fight is this will be the first fight Groves has with his new trainer, Paddy Fitzpatrick.

At somestage Groves will have to dig very deep indeed the last thing you need when that happens is a new trainer in your corner in your biggest fight of your life.

Paddy Fitzpatrick will rightly want to do things his way, he is clearly different to Adam Booth and as such there will be teething problems and thats the last thing you need in a lead up to a multi world title fight.

Booth is vastly underestimated as a trainer and motivator, and tactician, Groves was up against it before the move.

Froch by stoppage around 6th or 7th round.

Groves is gonna make Froch do a funnier dance than what we saw on stepping out

    Too ginger, too slick

It's pretty embarassing that sky, Eddie Hearn and even Froch himself talk like he's some sort of national treasure, the "peoples champion" whose popular with everybody.

In truth, he's an arrogant ******* and most people I know (including myself) are praying Groves knocks him the f**k out.

Also, don't be surprised if Adam Booth just turns up with Groves on fight night.
