Should Mayweather have been DQ'd against Ortiz?

Should Floyd have been disqualified for hitting Ortiz not once, but twice, when the latter was looking at referee Cortez? Or do you believe that Mayweather's actions were justified because of the headbutt, and Ortiz should have kept his eyes on Mayweather?

Ortiz should be required to undergo a psych eval before his next fight (long with bika). He has a screw loose. He's the one who should have been DQ'd. He used his head as a weapon blatantly. He made his bed. Floyd shouldnt be expected to wait until Ortiz stopped trying to get to second base with him to pop him in the mouth. Protect yourself at all times.

    Nope.

Cortez' refereeing made it look like some WWF bull, but it wasn't on the break.
Of course it was low from Floyd, but Ortiz' blatant intentional headbutt just made it that kinda fight.
People say Ortiz was stupid keeping his hands low after taking that first flush suckerpunch, but how many really saw the 2nd one coming? I've seen many suckerpunches, but almost never two in succession.

What would be the justicfication for a DQ? The round had restarted, it wasn't on the break, the ref didn't say stop punching or anything like that, and the shots weren't below the belt, on the back, or on the back of the head.

Ortiz had the right idea as far as game plans go, but just executed it completely wrong.

Your best bet is to try and rough up FLoyd and start throwing a flurry of punches. A fighter who'll have success against Floyd will recognize that they'll get countered a lot by coming in and trying to pressure Floyd, but you have to throw caution to the wind and just go for broke if you're going to have a puncher's chance at beating him.

Ortiz got what he deserved when he blatantly headbutted Floyd while he was on the ropes. It made no sense to me why he continued to hug and kiss floyd, just touch gloves once and get yourself ready to continue on. Protecting yourself at all times is rule # 1 in boxing, and Ortiz did a **** poor job of that after his hugfest with Mayweather.

That was my initial reaction, but looking back at it, I think it was a G move if nothing else.

Vic repeatedly fouled him, so Floyd stepped up and showed he wasn't there to be fouled and ultimately put an end to it by taking advantage of Ortiz lack of experience/mental fortitude.

I actually laugh when I see the replays of Floyd knocking the idiot spark out.
