they need to get rid of this circus act. the birth-givers should not be fighting at all.

If men have a right to do it then I don't see any reason why women should be banned from doing it as well.

Female boxing is good. If you don't like it, don't follow it.

Bopp, Juarez, etc. are fun to follow.

I think if holes want to punch each other in the face and get paid ridiculously low wages for a living, they should be allowed to do it.

its a shame we still live in such backward times.

lets ban gay boxers (since they are weak and poofy according to mid 20th century beliefs) and black ones (since blacks dont have discipline to manage their own lives according to 19th century American beliefs) too while we are at it. John Sullivan would be proud of you, man that guy was a Nazi already..

If they want to fight, let them. Personally I don't like it, but it's their choice.

As a trainer I would much rather train women than men any day. They learn faster, are more focused and are most of the time better technically and more aggressive in the ring. The sad truth is that the best female boxers seldom turn pro. Most pro women fighters are fat, lazy and unskilled. If the boxing money makers would pay and treat female boxers more fairly there would be many top level female pro boxers.

Did you know that Sullivan said Jack Johnson`s performance against Jim Jeffries was fair, and hat Jeffries said "I couldn`t even beat Johnson in my prime"

    They respected a few blacks.

There needs to be more demand for pro female boxers to get bigger pays and better treatment. But there isn't. Not many people care at all about female boxing.

Best student I ever had was also a female -- she went 5-0 with 4 KOs as a pro (there's a lot more amateur women's boxing now, we couldn't get a fight for her so just turned her pro) and then joined the Marines and was an officer in the (second) Iraq war.

She recently opened a gym in Texas and is training amateurs.
