Everyone who boxes or has boxed knows this. Joe Cortez said time in......anything goes after that.

Floyd was picking off shots with his elbow, which is legal, then Ortiz corner man started complaining about elbows when none hit him, great excuse for the real *****s who hate Floyd but secretly admire the guy.

Do you consider Dempsey a coward??? He did the same thing. I thought this was decided long before you or I were born. I guess it's true those that don't know history are doomed to repeat it.

I'm sorry, it was brought to my attention that some of you "fans" may not like the sport enough to actually follow it's history and therefore do not know who Dempsey is. Ok here goes the guy next was the former heavyweight champ. He was known for beating up and knocking out men much bigger than him. NO ONE HAS EVER CONSIDERED DEMPSEY A COWARD. In a very famous match (not famous to you since it didn't happen in you're life and you don't like history) he KO'ed Jack Sharkey (he would be a future heavyweight champ since you don't know who he is) while he was complaint to the ref instead of looking at Dempsey. It was declared legal then and refs have said protect yourself at all times ever since. When asked about it Dempsey said something to the effect of what did you want me to do send him a telegram?

The way is see it is that "if you start the dirty stuff,
then be sure to know that I, as a seasoned pro, am going to rain dirt down better than you ever could".

Rules are made by the two guys in that ring as far as im concerned.

I know we have rules made for two fighters to follow, but if you stray too far from them same nice rules by headbutting me, then i will be forced to show you im that better at that side of the rules too. Its just how I roll homie.

Floyd uses his forearms plenty, and the elbow is always somewhere very close by to there. If he hit me with any of them two areas than id be happy to take part in that kind of a war. I wouldnt hug and kiss him when i did it either and thats a sign of a weak minded fighter.

Take on the P4P best and you know whats up. sometimes that lesson will be a painfilled lesson.

Ortiz's headbutt could of worked the way it was intended. Bad delivery is all that meant it didnt:deal

yeah, pretty sure hitting someone when they are apologising to you isnt boxing.
not sure it was a sincere apology though!

Mayweather should have been DQ'd without question. Ortiz clearly wasn't ready and the ref was still looking away.

No, but a very cowardly act from a very skilled boxer being proclaimed the goat. The ref should have been the one DQ'd.

Funny, even Cortez admits Floyd was using them vs. ortiz however manipulating it acting as if it was Floyds defense against vic's head. Wonder what the excuse was vs. Mosley and all of the others he sticks them too LOL:lol:
