I just watched several Khan fights . I honestly dont see ANYTHING special about him. Looks like an average fighter with a shiny Glass jaw. No way he even gets close to Floyd.

The only guy that could is Zab--id love to see a re match. Or Pac of course

Speed is an attribute that gives ANY fighter style problems. Any style is enhanced with more speed. This notion that speed somehow gives defensive fighters more problems than offensive minded fighters is just ludicrous.

Khan has speedy hands for sure, but I haven't seen his quick reflexes. He's always very hittable. No defense. His footwork isn't great. Ring IQ...

This just isn't a very interesting match for me right now. Khan was rocked by diaz, Knocked out by Garcia, Looked silly against Peterson. He should have to at least get a notable win. Not a worthy fight...

How is this even being seriously discussed? I would rather a Ortiz rematch, or Judah, or even Garcia.

All Khan has to do is beat someone who is very good, and I wouldn't mind the fight. Khan is taking on tough comp, but he is not beating that tough comp consistently.

 

Exactly! I like Khan's mentality, he gets in with anyone(except for Alexander now that he's looking for a big payday, and I don't blame him). He is naively arrogant. He gets hurt in so many fights and yet still thinks that he is the best. He has the attitude to be one of the best, but his chin and skill level is not elite. His power is modest. He does have elite speed though.

This myth that Khan is faster than Floyd is not entirely true. I believe that Khan's hand speed is probably faster than Mayweather, BUT, not his foot speed, reflexes, or brain.

By the way, what is the purpose of all that hand speed without accuracy. If anything, one could say that Khan can not win this fight with speed alone.

Floyd has beaten numerous world champions he just makes them look bad with his impeccable defense. I'm not really a Floyd fan but I must say he is definitely one of the all time greats and he easily beats khan

 

To put things in perspective Khan had more speed than Bradis Prescott and Danny garcia. But got koed both times. Besides Floyd faster anyway. Floyd would ko inside 8 rounds!
