Round 1

Escamilla is dropping the right jab in on Quintero. Left to the body by Escamilla. Quintero adjusts his guard and drops in a pair of dippers to Escamilla's body, missing as Escamilla slides out. Body combo by Escamilla. Quintero is backing up and getting hit in the chest by the 1-2 as Escamilla lunges with his lead foot and makes an explosive step-through.

Round 2

Escamilla is hooking the body of Quintero with his right. Straight rights by Quintero backing up. Escamilla is jabbing up at Quntero's head, squatting and walking in. Quintero leans down on him as he gets backed into the ropes. Escamilla dips and rolls while circling in close and flurries on the body. Quintero is dropped by a left hand above the waistband. He is hurt. He gets up at eight. Escamilla jabs at his head and whips in underhands to the body pressing in. Quintero is pressed into the ropes as time winds down after the clap. He survives.

Round 3

Long right jabs by Escamilla. Quintero is covering up and looking to slice in a right hand low as Escamilla comes in, missing by quite a bit. Body combos under the arms by Escamilla. Hard right hook doubled into Quintero's temple by Escamilla. Quintero backs into the ropes but angles off to veer out to center ring. 1-2 by Escamilla, countered by the orthodox 1-2 of Quintero. Lead left by Escamilla. Long swatting right hook by Escamilla, falling short. Straight plunging right to the body by Quintero, standing in. Brief clinch, quickly broken up. Escamilla circles in either direction and ducks Quintero's jab. They step together trading hooks, Escamilla's right versus Quintero's left. Their arms sort of negate the effectiveness of one another. Headbutt. Quintero is putting combinations together but very slow and arm-weary. Escamilla is ducking and shoeshining in return.

I woke up this morning and my balls were trembling. I thought the magic fingers on my bed was on. But no-I soon realised it was because Alvarado/Provo was on soon...

 

Round 4

Escamilla is throwing his 1-2 and then planting right hooks into Quintero's neck when he leans forward. Quintero flops his arms in with leaden motions, a clubbing right and left hook on the inside as they grind together. Escamilla is shredding the body with right hooks and left uppercuts. Quintero is pushing into Escamilla, resting his forehead on his shoulder. Quintero is trying to shove Escamilla out of range for the body shots to land. 1-2 by Escamilla, blocked as Quintero backs up. Left uppercut by Escamilla, short. Quintero winds up a left hook and doesn't touch Escamilla. Clinch. Slow left upper-hook by Quintero misses. Escamilla gets close and flurries, mostly with the right hook. Quintero lands a nice combination, right hand stepping forward followed by a stiff left jab. Another nice combo by Quintero, making his last stand with straight punches catching Escamilla on the side of the head while he turns.
