    Based on the Bradley fight?


    Ruslan has solid power, but as usual the hype is going overboard.


    If Bradley would have fought Pac like he fought Ruslan, Pac would have KO'd him mid fight, not lost a close decision.

    True, but Pacquiao is more like what Tyson was at Heavyweight, he hurts fighters because the opponent has trouble gauging the speed.

    Provodnikov seems to me to have pure raw punching power.
    The actual impact of the shot carries more weight behind it than a Paquiao shot.

    Having said that, elite fighters likely are to take a punch from Provodnikov they saw coming over a shot from Pacquiao they did'nt see coming.

    The fact of the matter here is that Alvarado just isn't very good,it's a good measuring stick as to how overrated Brandon Rios is aswell.

    I recall the Friday Night Fight days when Atlas and Kellerman used to sh!t on Ruslan. Who's laughing now.

    Some serious respect must be given to Bradley for beating Provodnikov and taking his shots all the way to the end.

    "beating", it's debatable.Nevertheless, yes Bradley deserves some respect for that fight.

    Totally agree. Bradley is a very game dude, and has a fighter's heart. Definitely respect him for that.

    Time will tell. Bradley at a point in the fight stopped trading with Ruslan.

    I have'nt seen Alvarado-Ruslan, but if Alvarado's fights with Rios is any indication, he's a good boxer who's dumb enough to trade with fighters who can punch harder than he can.
    In other words if you're a good boxer, you dont trade with a fighter who's only chance is to war with you.

    He didnt have much choice in this fight. Ruslan was closing the distance on him too fast for him to box on the outside for long. There were times when he was able to move, plant and land shot, move, plant and land shots, but it was short lived.

    He stayed as dedicated to the gameplan as he could early on, but it was obvious it wasn't working. He cant just force himself to have skills he doesn't have, and outboxing Ruslan wasn't in his capabilities. Ruslan was applying too much fast pressure with too much power to go with it.
