    no.
It has nothing to do with pride.
It about the integrity of the sport of boxing.

Im not a Canelo fan, and I'm not a Floyd hater.

Its just that its pathetic that a PPV big event is FIXED in today's age.

Carlos is an old man that is limited.

Canelo could've KO'd Floyd, but was bribed to not beat Floyd. It was a FIXED FIGHT.

    HIGHER ATG RANKING:

Floyd Mayweather jr (45-0) 26 KOs

    Manny Pacquiao (54-5-2) 38 KOs

As we speak, who is ranked higher?

Manny. His resume is padded with many atg's. He fought multiple rematches with muiltiple atg's.

I'm a guy you could find that many times rated Pacquiao higher than Floyd in the atg list, but in these last few years, Floyd has done enough imo to surpass him.

Floyd he is the better fighter and there is an aura of invincibility that surrounds him. I don't see him losing a fight and retiring undefeated.

Pac has been in great wars and many atgs that's for sure. When i come to think about it.. how damaged will Pac be against Rios in about a months time?

If he somehow demolishes Rios, after the Knockout he suffered from Marquez, now that right there shows that Pac has a heart of a champion. Most boxers isn't the same getting ko'd in the late stage of their careers.

I have Floyd...but let me say this i think these two are closer to each other than some put on...i have no problems with Pac being higher because i think they are relatively close together anyway....which is still pretty friggin high.....thats accomplishment in itself

Pacquiao is a question too easily answered to be ranked higher than Mayweather, who we currently have no answer for.

It will always be Pacquiao. It's not even a subjective thing; it's totally objective. It's almost impossible to choose Floyd.

    8 weight-division champion
    Fighter of the decade 00-09
    Wins over ATGs Barrera, Morales

    vs.

    5 weight-division champion
    undefeated
    Wins over HOF-ers Corrales, Castillo

Pacquiao was already voted the greater fighter by the biggest boxing award committee during the same decade that they competed. The experts, committees and historians will always favour Pacquiao, and its no surprise.

We also dont have an answer for Calzaghe. Reason why? Because it's all about "who did you beat?". As you said (quoted) Pacquiao's is a question too easily answered. Mayweather, we currently have no answer for.

Pac's been there twice, that already proves that he has the heart of a true champion.

Calzaghe is not in ANY ATG discussions!! So that's that.

As far as records go, it's not just who you beat but also who beat you. Manny's record is riddled with controversial "wins" over Marquez and losses to even washed up fighters while Manny was in his prime!!! Eric Morales was washed up, period (over the hill at least). He also has embarrassing performances such as the Clottey fight where he clearly gave it his all and Clottey clearly did not, and yet many commented after the fight that Clottey could have beaten Pacquiao if he were paid to fight that night, as most of his power shots landed on Manny and were hurting him, especially the uppercuts. And this is what I mean when I say we have answered the Pacquiao question.

Years from now, Pac will be the most talked boxer..
Being undefeated means nothing, when was the last time you read something about Rocky Marciano? or a thread here that appreciates Calzaghe? None.
Years from now, peple will forget Mayweather. Deal with it.

Pacquiao > Mayweather. Undefeated means nada when it comes to legacy. It's who you fought that matters, not who you think he could have fought.
