    Ive rarely seen Mayweather be as effective as early as he was against Victor. He usually starts taking over in the middle rounds and has the late rounds on lock, but he had Ortiz baffled and hurt even before the midway point of the fight, Victor having some blitz moments here n there doesn't change that he was on his way to getting stopped late or losing a wide decision.

    hell no. Ortiz was on his way of getting stopped. Floyd is notorious for starting slow and Ortiz is a very quick starter. He knocked down like 10 opponents in a row in the first 4 rounds before Floyd.

    ortiz couldn't hit floyd i think the 2nd round he landed like 3 punches?? Floyd was gonna win that fight wide on the cards or late stoppage.

    i had floyd winning the 1st 4 rds not to mention victor eye was closing rapidly. i think floyd would have got a late tko or ud. but anything is possible with these judges today.
