Look at how many names there are. In other words, look at the quantity. Now, let's look at the quality....Who is the best win?....ATG Diego Corrales?

Okay, seriously, which is the best win? Id love to hear.

Are looking only for the best "names"? or the fighters who at there best and considered to be at their best when they fight?

I think in the end they will be considered quite high when all is said and done. Floyd will should be around the top 10 and Manny around the top 20 . . . that is if you adjust for the changing state of the game overtime. meaning the sport has evolved so that fighters do not have to fight every other week to make a living and the best fighters may not fight each other because of politics. However, if your definition of ATG looks strictly at the # of wins over great fighters then no modern fighter will ever break the top 25 so floyd would be around top 25 and Pac top 30

Best Win on Paper? De La Hoya
Best Win on Film? Either Corrales or Alvarez

I do understand the significant value of the Pacquiao bout (circa 2009), but it irks me when posters constantly hark on about Mayweather as if the onus was completely on him. I don't like talking about this fight over and over again because for the last 4 years it completely amounted to nothing, we haven't got the fight and internet fanboys love coming on the Forums bickering to each other about who's fault was this etc.

I'm just glad that he's getting the adulation from people who have now witnessed his talents against Canelo as of late. It's quite funny because Marquez's knockout of Manny cleared the spotlight for Mayweather this year.

I'm just going enjoy him while he's still here. :conf

A year ago I could have made a case for Pacman but not now... I'm a fan of Pacquiao but Floyd is easily ranked above him now.

Key words are could have made a case, not that Pacman was ever ranked higher but getting layed out makes it so much easier to decide who ranks above who.

Overall, I still give the edge to Pacman because of the Sasakul, Barrera, & Morales wins.

Bradley was also a great victory. :hey

Pacquiao, and by some distance. Pac probably scrapes into top 15, whereas Mayweather would be about 25.

Future generations will always remember pacquaio brutally K.O'ed.it's one of the greatest knockouts ever.something like that takes lot out of legacy.

And they also remember floyd was undefeated.champion over 15years.boxing's biggest celebrity and megastar.and people also know that you have to be truly amazing talent and fighter if you can generate over 1million PPV'S on regular basis.especially if you consider floyd fighting style what is to many people quite boring.

and it's impossible to say who's resume is better.both have very good resume's.

but people look their records and look.WOW floyd record only wins almost 20years and then retired.in manny's case they look.losses here and there and later in the career he was not good anymore.

So it's quite easy that people will look floyd was the unsolved puzzle 20years retired on top, manny was exposed here and there, last part of his career was full of losses.

    ^Pacman in top 15? Wow, that's interesting.

I have Floyd ahead of him by a few spots. I think Manny is in the top 30 all time, and I think Floyd is in the top 20 of all time. Only other 2 active fighters that break the top 50 for me is JMM and Hopkins.

All in all, these are the only 4 ATG's in this era.
