If the pole numbers were reversed 103 people would be considered "haters".

Most people thought Morales won that fight.

Tapia was definitely washed up by the time Barrera fought him but you're right - doesn't mean Barrera was past it.

Pacquiao was lucky to fight these guys then. Hamed didnt care anymore when barrera fought him and barrera was past it when manny beat him. tapia was old an alcoholic badly and baera was just giving him a payday

he couldnt even beat Junior jones in his prime and got KTFO for his troubles

If the poll numbers were reversed, this place would be infested with 103 *******s instead of the present 75.

-All three fights were close and produced divided opinions.

    Concerning the second fight:

A quick poll of 17 American writers at the MGM Grand Arena showed that five thought Barrera, now 55-3 with 39 knockouts, had won. Five scored it for Morales, who lost for the first time after 41 victories, 31 by knockout. Seven had it a draw.

he had an amateur career of over 60 fights.

And eight years as a pro where he had already won two titles. He wasn't green. Stop crying and get over it.

    :deal

Dude sounds like the Klittards who scream about Wlad still being "green" when he fought Sanders. Never mind the fact that Wald was a veteran of 40 pro fights and held the WBO HW title.

    A damned shame...

-No, we, the fans, were the lucky ones to see three P4P ranked fighters mixing it up in Fight of the Year brawls. :good

-That sounds like a personal assumption, Hamed never looked like he cared anyway, he just strutted around with his hands down and pounded guys but couldn't do that here. Hamed frankly got out boxed and it was marvelous to watch.

-What leads you to the conclusion that Barrera's fighting ability declinded to the point that Pacman doesn't deserve credit for beating him?

I mean, damn it's a very good win. No need to try to amp it up! "He was green!" Who are they kidding??

I personally think it's Pacquiao's best win. Barerra wasn't in his prime but he was still a very good fighter and there wasn't any of the usual Pacquiao catchweight games @ play for this fight.

To suggest that one of the greatest fighters Mexico has ever produced, and that's saying A LOT, who was still on top of his fight game would get beaten and KO'ed by a "green" fighter is obscenely ridiculous, IMO...

I agree it was definitely his best win. Then I guess the Cotto bout.

Honestly I think you have to be very biased to say Pacquiao is greater. The arguments people come up with are so dumb. "8 division champ!" Oh word? So Robert Guerrero is a HOFer, right? He did win titles in like 4 divisions. Just dumb ****.

Pacquiao is an ATG but there is no doubt that Mayweather is greater.
