Wach is a good guy and a decent fighter but he's not top level and he will get beaten by this in shape Chisora.
Wach was sparring David Haye recently helping him out for the Fury fight. Haye said Wach is probably the toughest man he's ever shared a ring with, in a video that Haye, Wach, Wilder and Towers appeared in Haye described Wach as "the man with the iron chin" So his chin peds or not, is still seemingly granite.
Great heavyweight fight! Tough battle to predict...Going with Wach but would'nt be surprised if Chisora win.
Imo Wach stops him late. Chisora is an active type of fighter but he is also very poor defensively and gets hit a lot. On the other side, Wach isn't known for being active and his defense isn't world class either, but his punch resistance is much better than Chisora's. He also punches hard, while Chisora isn't known for being a hard puncher. It should be a very tough fight for Dereck, with possibility of him pulling out the decision if he stays there for 12 rounds. However, if I had to bet, my stake would be on Wach by late stoppage.
Wach, if given time to train, will probably knock Chisora out. Wach would knock Wilder out...............
He has an entertaining style despite his lack of real power. He derailed Helenius when he was seen as the top contender. Gave Vitali a few problems and wasn't utterly dominated like most of Vitali's opposition. He's willing to fight anyone which is rare in this era of over protected fighters. He's had fewer fights then Wilder and Arreola but has fought at a higher level more consistently. Other than his sometimes rather manic behaviour what is there not to like.
