James Toney fighting in Prizefight Tournament in London November 14th

Yes but much depends on the quality of the sparring partners, i agree the technique James has is amazing but will he have the timing and balance to slip shots and land his own ?

 

Toney used to be a very excellent fighter. I used to enjoy watching him fight, but that was years ago. He was a throw-back to the old timers, knew his way around a ring. I just hope he has not taken too many punches.............

 

Timing and balance aren't the issues. It's his reflexes. They are completely shot and his body is not designed to carry that much weight and perform at a high level.

 

Well he cant go in there like Kevin johnson and lay around the ropes. Toney fought 4 rounders once upon a time too didnt he? He had to win those fights.
He's gotta go in and be the street fighter. He dosent even have to KO anyone,just land. He should still be able to win.

He's definitely punch drunk. Can hardly talk. If he passes the medical tests it will just show how worthless the tests are.
