What's the story with Jennings. Nothing since June and nothing that I can see in the pipeline. What's happened? Best of the American "prospects" in my view...
He refused to fight Abdusalamov, Pulev, Adamek, Boytsov and several other Heavyweights .. not sure what his plan is.
He's being promoted by Gary Shaw now and Shaw says Jennings will be fighting early next year. His slow 2013 is disappointing after a good 2012 but he's only 29 and should be in good position to have a big year next year.
Shaw is the kiss of death.He never promotes but sells his "fights" to small Indian Casino's so he can enjoy their hotel rooms and all you can eat buffets. Stupid,stupid move by Jennings.
Talk about a lousy 2013 then Dont know why he would want to sit it out for the most part after a hot 2012:huh
he thinks he's the real deal and believes that he is supposed to earn more money than most promoters are willing to pay. that's why he didn't fight all those people.
Pulev is a major step up so could understand that currently, the others however he could have beaten. Interesting...
I think you should rewatch some of his fights. Looks good against cans but had his iffy moments against C level fighters. Jennings is no more than the best of a mediocre bunch.
We should be watching Adamek vs Jennings on HBO instead of Adamek - Glazkov on NBC. Jennings' manager seems to think he is a million dollar purse type fighter.
