I'm not surprised. I actually thought he would have retired by now. The division is ****, he won't fight his brother, and David Haye's ***** ass will just find another way to back out of a fight if it ever got signed, so he might as well hang em up

He needs to be stripped of his title right away.

Apparently Vitali had made a name for himself in the politics. Very intelligent man. I hope he sortsout the corruption that is strife in the Ukraine. It may be difficult because it is deeply rooted in the whole system

Hopefully Stervine gets to fight somebody for the vacant title now. Vitali shouldn't be allowed sit on the belt any longer.

We have several boxing congressmen, why not a boxing president? :conf

Not that I'm endorsing him sticking around to further muddy up the HW title picture as he basically has done since returning at Sam Peter's expense - but I wouldn't put it past him to multitask while running and if and when he gets in office.

Nowhere in the OP does he say he won't.

Perhaps Fury Vs Haye gets an "upgrade"?

Surely defending his title whilst running for office has to be a votewinner for Vitali - in fact about the closest an opposition candidate can come to the political mileage to be gained from winning a war.

I'm not coming across as cynical am I?

He will just bribe his way to the top or get his dr to disqualify the opponent. He has history of this.

He has also already lost the mayor of kiev election twice. So he went off to form his own party. I cant see him winning

Hopefully none of the clowning bums will fight for his title when he's gone. Hope his brother goes for it immediately.

Maybe Stiverne and Arreola 2 for the title, Wlad fights (beats) winner, completely owns the division?

Actually this has been my guess for a while.

Not surprising at all. He should do the honourable thing and vacate and allow Stiverne his shot at the title. The guy has fought 2 eliminators already and been mandatory for 2 years.

Most likely will be Arreola again the WBC seem to favour him.

Arreola still won rounds with a nose broken in 4 different places. Stiverne won't land that punch again. Chris lost his attention for one second, it won't happen again.
