Andre Ward refuses to participate in VADA testing

That is utter nonsense, well the glove loadiing thing is. Ward, first refusing to go to Europe, for whatever reason, Then weight draining Dawson, and now refusing drug testing. The "son of god" is an awful champion, and would not be surprised at all if he was dirty. How many American boxers have tested postive in the last few years?

 

SOB Ward is just that, SOB Ward the PED test evader! So, it's OK for Ward to not test for PEDs, and to fight in his home town his entire career. SOB should fight Kovalev or Stevenson!

Ward is lean, ripped, and muscular, but that does'nt make a PED cheat.

You want to talk about hat sizes Andre Ward's has the same form as
Barry Bonds.

Its not how he looks or his head that is cause for suspicioun, its the way he handled the situation with PED testing being brought up when at one point in the past he was all for it.

Lets be real, had Rodriguez brought up PED testing during contract negotiations, if Ward is actually a PED user, he'd have never signed to fight Rodriguez and Rodriguez would have lost out on a payday.
At this point I dont think Rodriguez even cares if Ward tests or not.
I think it may likely be Victor Conte who's suspicious of Ward and by design Ward has been put on the spot to be embarrassed.

Hopefully Ward comes to his senses and accepts the tests, if not VADA, with USADA.

If a fighter is undergoing full year round testing, his promoter should pay for it. Just IMO. Unless the fighter is making a substantial amount of cash, the VADA testing fees will cost too much.

I do think Champions should be tested year round, but they should not be burdened with the cost.

 

Testing isnt in the contract...Rodriguez brought this up at a press conference after the contract were signed
