Stomp on his foot, clinch him, then push or lift him away from you with enough force to painfully stretch the ligaments in his foot - then b*tch-slap him with a hook or uppercut - or both!

Been watching Wlad for years since Derrick Jefferson and I think his opponents big problems are they are content to be clinched, just because Wlad holds doesnt mean there is nothing you can do about it

I think a southpaw is better suited, watch Thompson I and see how much he struggles to get the jab consistent, takes maybe 7 rounds

there was a moment in the 4th or 5th where Wlad reaches to hold and Thompson hits him rather than letting himself be hit, it caught wlad by surprise but he never did it again

I think you should circle away from the jab, yes you go to his powerful right but he doesnt uncork it like he used to and as a southpaw you position yourself for a left

easier said than done and Wlad is a lot better than he was in 04 when he was losing but now he is on the other side of 35 closing in on 40 and after 4 rounds Povetkin frustrated Wlad a little and made him look uncomfortable

Wlad never had a chin problem or one as bad as advertised. He had a stamina issue which cost him twice and i think it stems from panicking. Look at the Peter round 5 he gets hit a little and panics and suddenly looks exausted but in a few rounds easily gets a second wind

I think if a guy can drag him into a war and force his punch output up there is a chance he will tire but you would have to receive a big beating like Brewster or Peter to do this

his style exerts the least risk for the highest reward, he has made it tough to get to him

Best tactic is to be Vitali Klitschko, this is the only active fighter that can beat him.

Vlad can fight on the inside or on the outside. Vlad can box on the outside extremely well and still beats anyone in the heavyweight division. Vlad has mentioned fight Wilder, this would be a good fight since the haters claim Wilder is the best heavyweight in the world, Hell, didn't he beat Sconiers?! I think Vitali should fight Wilder for his retirement fight, knock him out. Then haters will claim that Wilder was all hype, but not until he is knocked out!

Im fairly certain that wlads camp pays the ref $$$$$$$$ to look away and not take points for his blatant rule infractions !!

As others said, bring up the clinching incessantly prior to the fight. The second the opponent sees Wlad going for a clinch, get low and aim a strong uppercut towards Wlad's chin and keep punching wherever you can during the clinch(including fouling). Make it very obvious what Wlad is doing every time and make it clear that you are actively trying to fight while Wlad is trying to hold(a lot of Wlad's opponents sadly don't even try to fight the clinch because the opposition is so weak).

No, I was in Bowe's camp years ago. Eddie Futch was great trainer, I looked up to him, treated me very well, good man. Watch Vlad put Povetkin out on his feet on the inside in their fight/Moscow. I suggest you watch all of Vlad's fights, I have them all. I watched Vlad win the gold medal in Atlanta, GA back in 1996. I knew he would become a world champion. I also suggest that you watch Lennox Lewis hold Tua, Tyson, etc. Hell Mavrovich beat the Hell out of Lewis, a little guy, lost a split decision. Mercer beat the Hell out of Lewis also. Rahman knocked Lewis out cold. McCall TKO'd Lewis. Watch some fights, watch Hopkins fight. Ad infinitum.........

Vlad outboxed you idol Wilder easily while sparring for the Wach fight, knocked him down with a jab. Watch Vlad beat Derrick Jefferson, 2nd rd knockout, Jefferson was 6 feet 6 inches tall, easy knockout. Vlad also stopped Thompson two times, he is 6 feet 6 inches tall, He easily beat (won all rounds) against Wach, who is 6 feet 8 inches tall, 250 lbs, Vlad easily knocked out Austin who is 6 feet 6 in the second round using only his left hooks, five quick left hooks, Vlad stopped McCline who is 6 feet 6 inches inches tall, Vlad fights tall fighters better than short fighters. He also stopped Bostice at MSG, NY who is 6 feet 5 inches tall. And he has fought more tall fighters. Vlad can knock out a fighter with a left jab, hook-off-the jab, uppercuts, right hook you name it. Vlad beat Byrd two times, knocked him down, won very round, then in rematch he stopped Byrd. Perhaps if Vlad were to strangle (like Wilder did) a woman you would like him.........? You read way too many American prejudiced boxing articles believing anything they write or say, but you do worship Hopkins? LOL!

By the way, it's very easy to beat Vitali or Vlad while outside the ring, but when you get into the ring with him it's a different story.

You can't debate farmboxer. It is always about race with him. In his mind he always twist the true to make the white fighter look good.

Do what Mayweather does, as you come in, stick your glove in his face and cover his eyes and crack him one.
