It has all seemed pretty straightforward as far as scoring, every round pretty clear so far - but the last thirty seconds of rounds 3 & 4 were both strong finishes by Rose, so the judges might give him those based on last impressions & crowd noise.

39-37 Maciel, but I can see it being the other way on an impressionable judge's card.

    Round 5

Maciel is whipping in hard body shots. Rose counters with hair-clipping jabs and jaw-jacking right crosses but Maciel walks through it all and keeps pivoting in with powerful hooks all over Rose's body. Rose gives him a taste of his own medicine bending to his left to dig in a left hook on Maciel's ribs. Maciel is unimpressed and keeps walking into Rose until tied up. Maciel slaps ineffectively up top in the clinch with his free right hand. Combos by Maciel, hooking the body and slapping heavily up top with the right. Rose is having to kick out his rear foot and slide/drag the lead, putting out counter jabs and quickly recoiling to cover up as Maciel explodes with power flurries. Big slapping overhand and hook combo by Maciel, making Rose double over and shell up while in retreat. BIG combo by Maciel, mixing in uppercuts. Rose is on the ropes.

    10-9 Maciel

    49-46 Maciel

Maciel is a bit wreckless but looks like he might K.O Rose soon.

    I've seen him do it...

His wind at 154lbs is really good. (and wasn't honestly terrible at 160, but much improved now since dropping the six pounds...as is his power, speed, everything...)
